Fantastic location. This place is right at the edge, of the main strip, which is actually ideal because coron can be chaotic! its very easy to get right into the town centre for a meal. Drinks were cheap and the views are amazing. Staff were super friendly and the breakfast was awesome. Gym is very basic, but good enough. The views are amazing, gorgeous sunset and cheap happy hour cocktails by the pool

SwedenWhile the staff was always happy to get our requests, they very seldom actually did anything about problems. The hot water in our kid's room didn't work during our entire stay, despite us asking about it several times. While in a calm location, it's kind of far from the main town - you need to take a tricycle costing about 50 pesos, but it's not a huge deal.
It's a really nice hotel, great views, nice pool. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The rooms look very nice and have a nice view. The location is nice and calm, not a lot of parties closeby, so if you are looking for calm, it's great.

United StatesWe were charged for 4 days stay while we only used 1 day. We had to check out after 1 day due to several reasons: 1. When we entered the assigned room, there was someone sleeping in the bed. That was a front desk service issue. Had to change room (from 4th to 2nd floor). 2. Stain in the bed sheet (room management issue) 3. The bed was too hard for my son in law's back. These issues were too much for our first day in beautiful Coron.
Breakfast was fair. As was the service in the dining area.

United KingdomPoor advance communication (no responses to 4 messages/emails sent via Booking.com) regarding airport transfer. Email from the hotel company rep based in Manila, whom I wrote to directly, only arrived after we were able to access WiFi at the hotel. In contrast, communications to two other hotels in Coren and El nido were answered within minutes. Fortunately, we presented ourselves to the driver at the airport, who was picking up several other guests, and did get the transfer we'd paid for. A very awkward situation then arose with the young man who was checking us in: we turned down the offered upgrade room as it was very dark with the wall of the hotel next door looming over it and we turned down another room that even the hotel employee who accompanied us agreed smelled very musty with probably a drainage issue. However, prior to ending up with the category room we paid for for 5 nights, the man checking us in offered that we could go elsewhere and find a different hotel. I'd made the reservation on 2 December and felt very annoyed by this comment. He may have meant it to be helpful by releasing us from the commitment. I told him his comment was upsetting, and we were then shown to the category room we paid for as it looked exactly like the photos on Booking.com. The room had minimal storage, even for two people with only 7kg of baggage each, and perhaps this issue could be addressed in a creative way. We know that beds in Asia can be quite hard, and these were. They would benefit from mattress toppers. Lounge chairs at the pool were uncomfortable and would benefit from pads or cushions. For the price, this hotel was overpriced and did not need our expectations.
The hotel was well located It was quiet Clean, helpful domestic staff Good breakfast Pool setting looking over the bay at the islands at sunset was lovely.

United KingdomWe booked the Premium room which stated that we had sea/pool views on the listing but turns out this is not the case, the room backed on to an adjacent building with no sunlight. Poor wifi and internet in our room, the TV had no cable signal and only worked with internet. We had a loss of power in our room which required a maintenance man to come in our room to fix.
Location was good only a short trycicle ride away from central Coron town. Great location for sunset. Staff were friendly and assisted us with our enquiries.

United States1. We did not have WIFi on our last day. That was not pleasant because we were getting ready for our next trip and needed internet badly. 2. After several reminders to the the front desk that we were checking out early in the morning to catch the ferry and we specifically asked for boiled eggs and bananas, we did not get that. It takes not more than 15 mins to boil eggs! I asked for extra banana, they said sorry ma’am we only give one each. The ferry didn’t have a proper cafeteria to get proper breakfast and for seniors with medication it was not easy to be on a 5 hr ride. Very disappointing.

PhilippinesNo really that is not liking it... the pool was not available for them to swim specially when u a have a 4 yrs old was looking forward to swim..as an guest in a hotel . Should have a privillage to explore or have a experience or use the facilities.. but instead it was ( only for some private party?) I booked sunlight hotel for them because it was near the porr bcoz the nexr early morning they have an early voyage to El nido. .
I booked it for my sister and co. She was good ..staff are nice they even take pictures for them ..and when her daughter decide to stay as an extra person ..it was possible as walk in.. in short it was a good experience for them. So i cant w8 to try it myself

ItalyThe seaview room we had was a bit too crammed in terms of view. Yes can sea ocean on the balcony but the balcony was not a nice plzce to be due to the noise and smell from kitchen available but a bit on the small side. (We understand covid complication)
Good place right downtown. Good comfy room. Very friendly staff. Excellent view from the pool area. Right downtown and very close to ferry to el nido. Walkable distance with bags even.

SwedenThere was no button/option that it wasn't necessary to for example switch out towels every day. In that case, we always left our "do not disturb" button on the whole time. That's one thing that could be improved, I think. Furthermore, the portions in the restaurants were very big and depending on the waitor he'd tell you (or not). Even though closely located from the harbour, you need to get a tricycle in order to get to Coron Town Proper.
The pool area was nice and the room itself as well (we had booked one of the rooms with its own balcony). The AC functions well and is quiet. There are buttons in the room (that look like light switches) that indicate "do not disturb", "check-in", etc. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. Restaurants food (if you want to eat dinner there), I'd mostly recommend it to family/friend-groups as the portions are quite big. Closely located from the harbour - if you're coming from El Nido with the ferry, the hotel is located within walking distance.

United StatesFirst front office guy who gave us a room that had an occupant in it. Management said the beds are firm as they are therapeutic. I beg to differ as my husband did not sleep at all. I’ve never stayed at any hotel anywhere with a bed with the lowest comfort quality.
1. They checked us into a room on the 4th floor but upon opening the door to our room, we discovered there is already an occupant in the room. We now had to be routed to a different room on the 2nd floor. 2. The bed in the rooms were extremely firm. My husband and parents who were booked Jan separate room did not sleep at all due to the extremely stiff and uncomfortable bed. 3. I slept in the bed (my husband did not sleep on the bed at all) only to discover there was a stain in the middle of the bed sheet (see picture) which meant the sheets were actually not unchanged from prior occupant. 3. The safe alarm was set off every time we tried to access it. We had to call engineering twice, the last being the safe would not open at all. 4. There was a power surge twice in the room which causes all the lights to turn in and flicker in the room. Their only recourse was to move us to their other resort which is a 50min speed boat ride in another island. All this in 1 day. Unfortunately, we could not bare to stay after a very disappointing day. now I’m getting the runaround with getting a refund for the 3 remaining nights as Sunlight charged my credit card for the 4 nights. Sunlight claims I should contact Booking.com and Booking.com is telling me to contact Sunlight.

United StatesTwo of the three evenings/nights we were there, they hosted events in the pool space that completely ruined the experience. 1) We weren’t able to use the pool and deck area - which were both big draws of why we wanted to stay there in the first place. 2) The windows of the rooms are single paned and the speakers were so loud that it felt like a rave right in your room. It was impossible to relax and read much less try to go to sleep at a decent hour. To their credit, after much persuasion the first night they let us move to a quieter room to sleep, but not all guests that complained were able to do that. The food was subpar and the environment of the restaurant felt very sterile and unwelcoming. Also, WiFi was advertised as throughout the hotel, but we couldn’t use it unless we sat in the lobby area.
The room was clean, good air conditioning, and nice view of the water and town.
