The whole building smells strongly mouldy n musty from the time you entered the hotel, it got worst when you exited the elevator at 4th floor (all rooms are on the 4th floor, basically the hotel have only 1 floor), our rooms smells better but still my allergies are triggered for the 3 days I stayed there Breakfast on 1st day was very poor, 2nd day a little bit better, but still poor Water pressure in the shower was very weak, and the water was either warm or hot, I couldn't have a cold water shower even the water at the wash basin was warm Overall don't expect too much, you get what you paid for, and for you who has a bad case of allergies or asthma, beware One more thing, the mattress was REALLY HARD, usually I don't have problem with hard mattresses but this is hard as wood and after 2 nights of sleeping on it my back hurts

The bed was so hard, it actually hurt to lie down and sleep in certain ways. The staff gave the vibes that they'd talk bad about you as soon as you're out of sight. The breakfast wasn't worth paying extra for at all. Not much options for something healthy. I left hungry this morning because even though it was 8:15 when I came down to eat, there were no eggs left. I asked if they could replace, but it was taking forever. When I asked again, they eventually brought out 3 eggs separately in a bowl (not the main platter). The eggs obviously came from a fridge and when I attempted to peel, they smelt gone off. Like just don't bother?? So essentially I'm on a 5 hour journey to El Nido with no food except for some pineapple I managed to get the last of. The staff didn't seem to care at all, and acted as if I was being unreasonable because I asked for food that I paid for. This is the first negative review I've written on booking because I usually give people the benefit of the doubt but this place was not it. I've been travelling for three months and this was my least favorite place. Especially for the price! I would advise you to book somewhere else!

Room was big and clean. Bathroom was modern and a good size, however I didn't have hot water on the second day for some reason. I booked the room without the view so was aware there was no sunlight into the room so it was fine.

I accidentally left some clothes (pants, shirt, and jacket) in the closet in our room, but only realised this after we had left the hotel. I tried contacting Sunlight guest hotel via email and mobile number but no one answered. No one was answering their contact numbers. I am very disappointed that this hotel cannot be contacted after check out in case a guest accidentally leaves their personal belongings in their room!

My room has no natural light... No window. Really disturbing. Beds are really hard. Noise of the air conditioning is just NOT possible. I was obligated to stop the AC if I want to sleep well.

Nothing, but my only advice is for the gym . Is not only for the hotel guests and need more organization. But doesn't reduce my high score with the hotel .

The room is the highest point of this hotel, and the breakfast buffet is the second. I chose the sea view room , big , comfortable and so modern .

Prime Location: This place was fantastic! Right by SM, which made it super convenient for grabbing essentials and meals. Plus, Klook tours picked us up right from the hotel, saving us time and hassle. Accommodating Staff: The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always available to answer questions, give recommendations, and ensure we had a comfortable stay. Stunning Bay Views: Waking up to the beautiful bay view every morning was incredible! It was so relaxing to sit on the balcony and enjoy the scenery.

I highly suggest requesting a room that is not on the main street side. It was very noisy, even throughout the night. Ear plugs helped dampen the sound. Most of their rooms are not on the street so I would ask specifically for one of those.

This is a nice hotel with modern rooms (very modern bathroom). The service throughout is excellent. We were only there for one night and did not venture outside. They do have a restaurant and bar which was nice. Breakfast was included. It was very good.

There was a party inside or outside the hotel and it was impossible to sleep. During night but also during all the morning, techno music and it was horrible 😅 We try to communicate to the front desk 3 times but they didn’t show any interest on that subject…

Breakfast hours - till 9 only and you can order a la carte only after 11:30. Villas are very close to each other so if you happen to have noisy neighbors you hear them real well.

The staff of the hotel (especially at the reception) is very suspicious and tries to scam you with offers that are not true. We booked a kingsize bedroom and first (offer at the booking page was wrong and a scam). After reclamation and a lot of discussion we were harassed by the staff to leave the room (constant calls on our room until we disconnected the phone), then our climate control was disconnected until we did complain about it. I was ill in that time so the room was a torture. After we left the room, it was clearly visible that someone had moved and opened our bags (nothing recognized to be stolen so far). When we checked out, suddenly the minibar had to be paid and even the pringles which were standing without any price list in the middle of the room had to be paid. They really scammed and harassed us, worst hotel I‘ve been in that class in whole Asia! Beware of the reception staff and don‘t be scammed by them!

The hotel is quite luxurious in a bit old way for the Philippines. The restaurant crew was also quite polite, but that‘s the only good points of this very bad hotel

No soap in bathroom. No hand towels in bathroom. Breakfast was below average....no sliced bread, only 1 fruit option. ! No window in the room. The sliding doors lead to a hallway with other balconies. Reception staff had no idea of the local area and what to do.

Luxury rooms at an affordable rate! We loved our time here- the location is great being right next to the boardwalk, which has a wonderful atmosphere in the evenings. Room was spacious, TV had Netflix, breakfast with a view was great too.

The property is in a good location. Room was clean and spacious. Workers were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in hotels, not the same thing every day, plenty of option.

Requested for an ocean view room upon check in but was told no availability. We were moved to another room the next day. I communicated with the property days prior about an inquiry on amenities and location but no reply at all. Upon check in in our room, I found pubic hair on our bed and toilet seat. (See picture). The hotel location is across a public market and it is noisy and polluted. I never expected a hotel just in front of the market place. Upon check out, I was told that there will be no airport shuttle to drop us off (which was stated on the booking that it is available). We need to book our transport instead.

The room was spacious and the staff were very nice and attentive to our needs. The staff at the restaurant were very attentive and Chef Mark was really nice to accommodate our request.
