I had the best time here. The staff are so kind and will bring you along for great experiences. It really feels like a second family. You have an amazing beach right around the corner, that was basically empty when I went. Thank you to Ace, Felix, Mikey, and Tricia.

The beds were a bit too small for me and my taller friends, seems like a small detail but in fact it made sleeping quite uncomfortable... Also, not that many options for food in the area.

Amazing location (2 mins walking from the beach), but would recommend taking scooters to move around! Staff were extremely friendly and sleeping outdoors is def a worthwhile experience

The accommodation is fairly basic, but we knew to expect that. The staff are amazing and went the extra mile to help us with transport to and from el nido, and Bok was an amazing surf teacher for us too. They have the hostel which is 3 mins walk from the beach and then a surf/beach hut at the beach which serves great food and you can get surf lessons from there too. We had an amazing couple of days here. Bok even took us with the other guests to the village for dinner one night when we had missed the dinner at the beach hut. Thank you! The sleeping area is open at the sides and slept in hammocks but they have fully enclosed mosquito nets so it was fine.

Not really a problem but they didn’t have much to offer on the menu as there wasn’t many people staying so they didn’t buy the food in so that’s fair enough.

Location is great! 3 minute walk to duli beach which is good for surfing or just a swim and relaxing. Stayed in hammocks, not as bad as I expected! Had a mozzy net over so was fine! Lovely little place would stay again!

There is no wifi, which is nice to get a break from technology, but just make sure you are prepared for that and have a SIM card or are okay with using the beach restaurant’s wifi during the day. It would have been nice to have a fan upstairs to get some breeze & help keep the bugs away.

The owners are so nice & do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. They welcome you in like family. The food is very good, they are so nice and will cook for you any hour of the day. It’s close to the beach, just a few minutes walking. You can also use them to take surfing lessons, we did and it was a lot of fun! They also helped us arrange a ride to the airport on the day we left.

I think if you’re staying at the place you should get a discount on rental surfing, otherwise you feel obliged to use the company that works with the hostel. there are plenty of places either side on the beach that are much cheaper.

liked the simplicity and peacefulness of the place

I felt like family there. There were drums, guitars, local meals, amazing people, incredible surf and beach. It’s very simple and amazing. I hope to go back. They even put on a musical performance with fire juggling that blew my mind!

I got attacked by bedbugs as well as mosquitos. There seemed to be some holes in the nets. Also, there are no options for dinner at the hostel, you gotta figure it out yourself, either at the nearby resort, or the village.

The staff was very friendly! It's the same people that own the beach bar where you can rent surf boards. My instructor was living in the same hostel, so it was really cool to chill together in the evenings.

For what it is, this place is crazy expensive. 600 php + tax for a bunk in an open dorm room with no walls? Are you serious? The dogs will be barking half the night and your sleep will be disrupted many times and you’ll be eaten alive by the mosquitoes, despite the net. The hostel also doesn’t offer anything to eat and there are only a few places to eat on the beach and the prices are ridiculous (100 php for a bottle of water). 250 php per night for a rustic dorm like this would be a more reasonable price, and would likely also attract more guests. This reversed logic seems to be norm in the Philippines: the more remote and less “touristy” a place is, the more expensive it tends to be. If you’re going to Duli Beach, just go early in the morning from El Nido and eat a huge breakfast there instead.

The location is a beautiful rural location and the beach is only 500 meters away. Staff are friendly. The place has a lot of potential, sadly it falls pretty short in most areas.

-Hammocks slide to floor -Staff is uncaring / unfair -Over rated -Over priced Hammocks slid to the floor while sleeping. Staff saw and didn't care. Woke up on the floor both nights. Seriously? Can't be bothered to put a slide stop so it's impossible for them to fall? Or maybe hang them like in the picture. Nope. I prepaid 3 nights for myself. I brought a friend and ended up staying 2 nights (4 nights total between us). They wouldn't credit her 1 one of my nights so we had to pay 5 nights total, (just because "F U" the place was empty btw) she tried to make a reason about booking not refunding but we were paying in cash for my friend... could have easily adjusted to be fair. They were charging cheaper for a private bungalo on the beach. 500 pesos private beach front with bed vs this 600 (for 2) hammock shared 500m away.. I booked based on ratings, and this deserves nowhere near the 9.4 it has. What they want to charge in Duli Beach for anything surf related / transfers is ridiculous. Have fun paying 3x as much with a significantly lesser experience than Siargao. The locals know you have no other option and you already invested your time and effort to get there. My advice is don't even bother going In the first place. Mid at best.

    The view and water noises.
