Nothing. Just dont walk from the bus stop to the hotel with a suitcase, haha.

Facilities were great. Pool side self-service kitchenette with water (boiling, room, and cold temp), coffee, tea alongside honesty bar was a nice touch. The pool was cleaned daily, and rooms were immaculate when we arrived. Some rooms need a bit of TLC, but nothing to complain about. Location is surprisingly good; there is a back entrance which backs onto the main street - 400m walk to the beach at most.

Breakfast was poor, I don't understand why there is no fruit served at breakfast, only small banana. From 7am renovation around, so If you want to sleep more... forget about it. Sandra who is the owner of the property every day asked several times what our plans for the day, If We wanted to go for island hopping, whether we wanted a return bus, etc., which was quite bothersome and tiring.

Location is good and quiet, not in the center of village but near. Large rooms. Nice swimming pool.

Perfect for families with kids, a few minutest from the beach, tasty breakfasts and cooling swimming pool. Regret we couldn't stay longer.

We were told the breakfast was going to be served at 7am, we had a taxi at 0730 and the food was served at 0720, so it was quite a rush. The breakfast is set and you have to decide the day before. Sometimes it nice to be able to decide on the day depending on how you feel, but I understand this makes it easier. Breakfast was basic, but similar to most of the properties we’ve been to.

The staff were super nice and we said that one of us was unwell and she tried to get us into the room quicker. There’s a pool which we didn’t use but would have used if we had time. Easy access to the main street for food etc The room was nice and spacious, lots of room to put luggage and an upstairs bit for our friend who preferred no aircon. They have motorbikes to rent which was great. The lady organised transport for us to leave the next day.

There is air conditioning, but the room we were in is made out of thin bamboo, so temperature conservation is little better than that of an open tent. At hot noon, it couldn't cool enough. In the last room, the wifi signal was weak, so if wifi is needed, mention that in the booking process.

Very clean and neat. The staff was super friendly and helpful. When we were sick and missed some of the days in Port Barton, they allowed us to late our check-out.

Breakfast they offer are from some menu you have to choose from evening with time of your breakfast quite poor with 1 egg. Additionaly you can toast white bread.

We stayed at Teteng for 3 nights. It was such a wonderful stay with lovely hosts and a really Nice breakfast. We are travelling with small kids and they loved the pool and the corner with toys. It is a very short walk to the Beach.

The huts were really pretty from the outside but quite dark and small from the inside..

Sandra and her team are the best! She is so funny and makes you feel really welcome. We loved the relaxed vibe at the homestay and enjoyed the breakfast. The location is very good as it is less than 5 min walk to the beach and to the Happy bar (best bar for sunset). We also had the best meal in port barton next to the homestay (the paella from Joan’s cuisine is amazing)!

I would highly recommend staying here! Sandra and her staff will make you feel at home and they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. It feels like a home stay. The staff will also help you booking tours and transfers to your next destination. If you have any special requests for your stay they will try meet you needs. It was my best friends birthday when we stayed and I messaged the staff on what's app before we arrived to have balloons set up in the room & the display they set up was better than anything I could have ever done! There is a lovely clean swimming pool and tea/coffee/safe drinking water to help yourself to all day long :) The breakfast provided is excellent. Teteng's home is in a great location close to the beach and nearby restaurants and bars.
