The location is a bit tricky to reach, especially at night.

I think this place is underrated! The food is beyond exceptional! The staff were always so helpful! I’d love more people to come and can highly recommend this place!

For us it wasn't a problem but As been said before-the road was partly destroyed by typhoon-so van can not come directly to the hotel with luggage. Its a 500 meter walk by foot. (An Easy walk).

A special place, in the quiet side of town. A Boutique Hotel. Well designed (shire style) Stayed there 2 nights. Food was good. Rooms were clean and well aquipped.

The road leading to the Shire is not passable but a short week is not a bother. There is a parking area nearby anyway.

It is a few hundred meters away from the town proper and in front of the property is an expansive farm and the mountains of Sagada far beyond so we enjoyed the peace and quiet in the Shire. The interior of the place reminds me of the house of the hobbits. The food in their restaurant, especially the home made corned beef are way beyond our expectation and some of the best in Sagada.

Broken road going towards the place that usual transportation cannot pass by. But the walk is bearable and you get to enjoy the view.

The view is spectacular. Staff were nice. Room is comfy. Food is great.

The hotel access required a 200-meter walk from the parking area, which wasn't communicated during the booking. Additionally, the nearby odor from a pig farm was quite unpleasant.

The room was very comfortable considering available accommodations in Sagada. They had delicious food in their restaurant/cafe and it was very convenient that it was just at the hotel premises.

Our whole family loved the place. Very beautiful. Enjoyed the place and the view especially at the balcony where you can enjoy the sunrise view. Location is perfect if you want to stay in a beautiful, quiet place away from the center. The walk is also just fine with us, it actually adds to the experience of enjoying The Shire. :-)

    The broken road

We loved everything: the theme of the hotel, the kindness and flexibility of the personnel, the cleanliness of the place, the view and surroundings, the sitting areas on the terrace or inside by the chimney, the food was good too.

Probably or definitely overpriced although you are getting something very different so it balances itself. The room was a little small and a fan in the room would be good as there's little air movement, a ceiling fan would probably be the best.

Fantastic place that's different to anywhere else in Sagada. The staff were friendly. Nice clean place and fresh air, great view, lots of greenery. It's easy to find and out of the way, not far from the town but definitely take a torch to make life easier at night especially if the road hasn't been repaired.

The shower water. their heater doesnt work with minimal water supply. hence, we showered with a very cold water. they should improve the water supply or the heater. whichever would work for the clients to use the heater. and since the road was damaged during the typhoon egay, we were not able to use their free parking. we had to pay 150 pesos/night for the parking fee. which i think should be shouldered by the hotel.

the location and the place itself is perfect. its quiet. the walk wasnt that far, and the place is really clean. the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I love that you wake up with the mountain view. and the breakfast with the dessert is so yummy. the coffee is superb too!

Unfortunately the approach road to the original parking area (which was 98 metres from the Shire - which was ok.), had been subjected to a landslide some time previously and the only available parking was over half a kilometre away, over rough muddy terrain.(and across a perilous, hundred metre deep drop!) (I am approaching 70 and a little bit disabled so regrettably, we cut our 4 day stay short) If I had known before, I would not have chosen this establishment.

The Shire of Sagada is a Lovely, unusual hideaway, in a beautiful location. Peaceful - a place to relax with nature. The staff are wonderful (a particular shout out to Michelle!) Providing perfect customer service - A very Happy Place. The choice at breakfast was great, and the restaurant for Lunch/Dinner was Super. The Room was clean and comfortable. With a great view.
