Clean the windows of the building from the outside please. If your facilities team can do that soon, the better. The rain marks and dust/dirt are uncharacteristic of a Westin brand.

we had our staycation for my birthday celebration here. we've been in different deluxe hotel and westin manila is really exceptional! They gave us a room upgrade from King to a suite! It was spacious, complete amenities and very clean. As we check-in, we stayed at Westin club lounge, where they offered a lot of snacks, breads and refreshments. They also have Hors D'oeuvres where they offered hot meals for dinner, the food was great and they have unlimited cocktails and snacks. For breakfast, we had a buffet at Mezzanine. There are a lot options for breakfast that will keep you full for the whole day! And because we have an access to the club lounge, we stayed there in the morning for a cup of coffee and some fruits and bread. After we check-out, they offer us to stay at the club lounge and offers us fresh mango fruit and refresher. By the way, they also gave us free birthday. I can say that the money we've spent here is really worth it. From the place itself, it was comfortable and for the food, we were really overwhelmed with so many mouthwatering food option. I highly recommend The Westin Manila if you want to have a great staycation with your loved ones. 10 STAR for this hotel!! Best Service! Best Staff!!

Aside from the room and the facilities my family truly enjoyed, the staff were helpful. There was no moment that the staff failed to greet or assist us in whatever way they could. The food was excellent. Special thanks to Reservations Supervisor Hany Jayco, who went out of her way to help us. Our stay was so comfortable and relaxing after going through some difficult times.

The room though is odd-shaped but I got used to it after a day. There are few minor items that were not quite right or at 5-star level yet but I attribute it to teething issues (I’ll send my comments to them directly so as not to sound too fussy here).

I will start with the best part… the STAFF. They are very friendly and attentive. I was very satisfied with the service, from the people at the door, the front desk to the crew at the lounge bar and the dining room. They would go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. It is a brand new hotel so as expected everything is sparkling and shiny. It does not have the grand feel of other hotels like the Shangri-La with its massive chandeliers but Westin Manila suits me better. It has a classy and simple elegance about it. I love the overall organic look and feel of the interior, it reminds me of Scandinavian hotels. I also love the art pieces in the lobby. That BenCab painting and the glass piano sculpture did not go unnoticed. It’s a good place to stay at if you’re on a business trip around the Ortigas area. We were on a leisure trip and meeting friends around there and also in Quezon City. So it was convenient and we didn’t have to sit long in traffic. If you’re deciding whether to get the breakfast with your booking, take it! They have a good and delicious selection of Filipino and western food. The shopping malls Edsa Shangri-La, SM Megamall, and The Podium (all walking distance from the hotel) have a variety of dining options but they only open from 10am.

The restaurant. Main dishes were unfortunately lacking in taste, even simple dishes such as aglio olio and peeto pasta. Worse was that instructions, although communicated directly to the chef, was not followed. We are vegan and clearly explained what that meant. After waiting an hour for our food, they still came with cheese and buttered toast. The server was very professional though. She handled our disappointment very well and kept her calm and professional demeanor.

The room and hotel facilities was very very good. Nice plush room, very thoughtful staff: they created a “birthday cake” out of towels to greet my daughter when we checked into our room (one of which was upgraded to a suite, by the way). As we got 2 rooms, they situated them right beside each other without being asked to. It’s everything a 5 star hotel should be.

The plumbing at the toilet was terrible. It stank so bad that one couldn’t sit on the toilet for a minute without gagging. For a 5-star hotel, it’s disgusting and super unacceptable. They should do something about this.
