The location and view was exceptional. Christina and Henry were very gracious and accommodating. The entire staff was very joyful. Our room with large sliding glass doors opened to our balcony which gave us an outstanding view of the sea and sunsets. A true paradise retreat.

Rooms are very basic.

Very friendly and chilled / calm atmosphere. The staff is more than helpful,accomodating,nice and we definitely enjoyed our stay there. Perfect hotel for divers,we only snorkeled. But still we felt very welcomed and had a really Good time at the wild orchid! Also the partner Hotel“Blue orchid“ is very nice and has a slight better location (closer to white beach). We can highly recommend the place !

Needed more bedroom furnishings and the road to the property needs to be improved for safety.

The staff and food was amazing! The staff go above to help with everything we needed. We loved how close the property is to local life, we really felt like we were in the authentic Philippines and not just in a resort.

Road to the property was bad. Had a car and it was rough. But overall worth the badly graveled road.

The location is perfect! Away from the crowds and spectacular see view. We had the feeling that we were in a desert island. The food was delicious with fair prices and the staff was very friendly. Michael, the owner, was also very welcoming, attentive and kind. A place that we would certainly go back to and absolutely recommend!

The location is relatively far from center Moalboal, but just great to escape from the typical noisy and touristic spots after long days of island hopping or diving; it is still easy to get transportation as well. The pool was filled with what seemed to be chlorine, could have been cleaned up a bit. Food was Ok, and it was nice to have easy access to it, but portions were small. We were there for 2 nights, but the staff never came to clean the rooms or asked if we wanted to get them done. This was unexpected and unfortunate given the price of the hotel. No cards are accepted, but this seemed to be the rule in all the area.

Brand new hotel, with a nice view and very friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff. Perfect location to escape from long days of tourism and activities. We were able to do some great snorkeling in the ocean right in front of the hotel. We were able to book all activities with the hotel, as well as transportation.

The only difficulty we had was the final dirt road to reach the resort: not yet signalled and bumpy.

Location of the resort is difficult to find..roughy road on your way to the resort..the resort is still under construction so it will surely improved in the future. They will fully open and operate in December this year, so for sure, they are preparing big time for it😊

Absolutely amazing property with unreal views. We had the best stay here at The Wild Orchid! The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful… really large lovely rooms and bathrooms. 10/10 would definitely recommend and shall certainly be retaining. Thank you to the team for an amazing stay!

Nothing was too much to ask

After a few bumpy roads, we reached an extremely beautiful resort. The staff were super nice and attentive. They made this resort an unforgettably great place, creating an cosy ambiance for visitors to completely chill out. The room was elegant and spacious, it had a balcony for you to overlook the whole beauty of private beach. The bathroom was decorated in an exquisite way. The most attractive part was that water pressure was highest compared to the other stays we had in Philippine. The best part for divers was that they provided a free gear rental, those gears were really well and had a good quality. Once we got to dive into the sea outside the hotel, we saw diverse kinds of sea creatures such as urchins, sea snakes, starfishes, coral reefs and a view of sardine run, not to mention a various school of fish surrounding us. We were told that it might be able to see whale sharks but unfortunately we didn’t see any. As we floated up in the meddle of the sea, we fully immersed ourselves in layers of sunset clouds above a stretch of distant mountains Unlike other beaches in Cebu, this beach was the most beautiful, natural and quietest beach we’d ever seen. With high tide, it would be better to do a proper protection from the jellyfish attack. The food was rather tasty and full of local flavour. We followed the recommendations from the staff, it was always nice to try some local delicious cuisines. When we ordered a fresh coconut, the staff even tried to climbed up trees to get some, it was quite unexpected as well as cute. We could always get useful tour information from the staff and they basically fulfilled our every request during our stay. They were really nice, polite and patient. They really made our stay more pleasant and unforgettable. This resort has become a better attraction due to their care. The dog they adopted was also very cute. The experiences we had during our stay were extremely enjoyable and memorable.

We loved everything. The only maybe critique was the road getting into the resort was a little under developed but it did not change how amazing the staff were to us.

We had the best time at the wild orchid. They’re staff was amazing and so friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had breakfast every morning. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

The road to the resort is a bit rough, but take your time and no problems. No other issues.

It was during their soft opening, so not everything is completed yet. Didn't matter though, we had a fantastic three days with friends. Quiet location, room was super, bed very comfortable, great shower, good wifi. Food was excellent and staff were well trained, polite and helpful. Easy drive to White Beach and great snorkeling. Diving, waterfalls, canyoning, hiking can all be arranged at the front desk. Maya and Nathan were great hosts.

Our family loved this resort.. Its in such a beautiful location and is quiet and away from the busy town but not too far... I do recommend you have your own car or scooter though. Sunset was amazing and private beach out the front to swim and snorkel.
