Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesIt would've been perfect if they have swimming pool.
We stayed in their villa. We loved it! The location is perfect for sunset lovers like us. We'll be going back again soon!

GermanySometimes I could hear in the early Morning the mobile Sellers from the Road.
I stayed at the Cliff Bungalow, which has an outstanding View esp. when lying in the Hammock or sitting in the Rocking Chair. Breakfast was extensive (Coffee/Tea, Eggs with Ham/Bacon), Black Bread with Butter and Marmelade, Fruit Salad/Fruit Juice, Yoghurt) and always feshly prepared. I tried several meals from the Menu and was always satiesfied. The new Cook did an excellent Job. Although sitting on a Cliff, it´s easy to have a Swim since there a Stairs down to the Sea. I enjoyed as well the free Laundry service. AC worked well and was quiet. Shower had a good Pressure and provided even hot Water. Wifi worked perfect in all Areas (however there is no 5G Signal). They do have a generator in Case there is a Blackout. Booking a Scooter through the Resort was easy. Personal was always friendly and helpful. Sunsets were unbelievable beautiful. I will definitly go back again.

Amazing staff. Breakfast was good. They cleaned the room and provided fresh towels everyday. They even did my laundry for free and stayed a little late until they were done. Amazing view too!

I had a fantastic visit to Camiguin and my stay for 4 nights at this resort. Wonderful hilltop/cliff view location. Excellent location on the island. Easy for exploration. I rented a motorbike (with the help of the resort) and it was safe and easy to get around. The property is modern and well appointed. The owner lives on the property and together with his staff are totally focused on giving you a great experience on the island. They have an excellent restaurant for breakfast and other meals. And will gladly help you plan your activites with suggestions. Good wifi. Good AC and amenities as well. I spent several weeks in the Philippines and this island and my stay was one of my top highlights. Enjoy the island and I highly recommend Tongatok for your stay.

PhilippinesThe prices in the restaurant is a bit pricey and the food a little bland. Serving may also take a while. No mobile network on the area. You better provide alternative communication with your contacts if you stay here. Mobile network is couple of kilometers away. A bit far from most restaurant and food establishments.
The room was very spacious. Bathroom is also well maintained. Has a restaurant in-house so you can order anytime. Breakfast was the best with additional option of cereals, oats, and pancakes on top of your set choice and it comes with brewed coffee. View is amazing and place is quite. Staff is also accommodating.

DenmarkThe only thing we were missing was a blowdryer in the room.
We had the villa and it was just amazing. The view is probably the main selling point, because you can basically see the sea from your bed. (We really recommend to be in the area around sunset). The owners are extremely kind and accommodating: They helped us whenever we needed transportation or had questions. Breakfast was included, and you could pick from a menu. I really recommend the vegetable omelet.

BrazilWhat a great surprise. From the start, I arrived way later than expected and kitchen was closed already. The employees reopened it and stayed until later to prepare dinner for me. Helped on transportation, motorcycle rental and tips. All very kind. Room was good and they have one of the best breakfast I had over the several islands I’ve been. I totally recommend this place.

FinlandThe room was clean but also occupied by some spiders, ants, geckos and so on - but I know that’s what you get in the rural areas. The ”guide” from the hotel was friendly and took me to nice places. However, the pricing was quite high with regards to our limited capability to understand each other in English. He was really not able to tell me much about anything but I appreciate it anyway!
Spacious and clean rooms. Extremely lovely views, especially for the sunset. Friendly staff!

We spent here 8 days and they were by far the best and most relaxing of our trip to the Philippines! The staff was so welcoming, especially the ones from the restaurant, they made us feel at home. Everything is perfect, the rooms have everything you need, the resort offers the best sunset view and an access to the ocean which is completely private and so beautiful! They helped us with everything, from scooter rental, to airport pickup, to organizing tours on the volcano... I could not suggest this place more!!

Slovenia-
Big, comfortable room with porch, good breakfast. You can also have other meals in this restaurant and the food was good. Nice and maintained property. Nice location on top of the cliffs. Very nice sunset view. Staff is helpful and friendly. And the owner (Frank), who also lives there, went over expectations helping us with the situation when ferry from the island was cancelled on our departure date. (At the end the best option was to wait for next day.) You will need a scooter or a car to explore the island and Frank can organize it for you (pick up and return at the property). There is not much traffic on the island which makes selfdriving enyojable and google maps works just fine. Some other info: in feb 24 white island (sandbank) was P550 for a boat, good for 4 people + P50 pp for environmental fee. Starts at 5:30 am. A lot of parking space there. I was the only one searching for the corals there with not much success. :( Mantinique island: 750 for boat (up to 6 ppl) + 75 pp. And +75 pp for snorkeling in the marine park on the island payable on the island - a lot of fish there, the reef is 2-3m deep, so corals are not that close. But it is nice. 3 hours are more than enough. Giant clams sanctuary is still closed. They are waiting for the government approval. You wont be able to swim where the clams are, but the beach narby has quite a good corals (but nothing special). Try the cold and hot water pools on the island, there are many and all maintained quite well. Entry fees 50 or 75pp. Check Beehive restorant some 5km down the road for a drink or dinner with the sunset view in a Gaudi inspired environment :) If you plan to visit the island mainly for the snorkeling, I would pick some other destination. Beware that there are limited options to get to the island or to leave it. Ferry to Jagna(Bohol) can be cancelled any day. So you can buy a ticket only at the port on a departure date...

PhilippinesExtremely limited network but this isn't exclusive to this location, more a reality of the island itself. Some wifi outages but not for very long
Had been thinking about booking this place. Ended up going with another booking. Regretted it and booked here while in camiguin and it was with every peso. Comfortable and accommodating. The property is quite scenic. Cool walking path down to the water but no beach access, however the cliff view fie sunsets is incredible so worth it. Great food service and accommodating staff for travel. Also the power went out briefly but there is a generator so it wasn't out for long. Staff had good recommendations for the springs and the owner suggested a place for beach access as we were travelling with a toddler. Extremely selfless as it was a restaurant.
