Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A lovely gem in the heart of BGC! Location was amazing, a few metres away from The mall. And maybe a short 10/15minute stroll to Market Market! Plenty of restaurants available to chose from or cooking in the property or you could always Grab instead. View from my apartment was amazing (see picture). Was also full access to the gym / pool etc. shame was only there for 24hours. Bathroom stocked with gels etc. kitchen supply of pans / dishes / cutlery. And also coffee and teas available in the room which is nice following a day of travelling. Will definitely be staying here again when I’m next in Manila!

Great location and amazing view from the room over Manila BGC area. Lobby is beautiful and clean and staff are very nice. Close to lots of eateries and shops. I felt very comfortable to walk around in the area at night by myself. Easy to check in and access the room.

AustraliaThe lobby check in is a little cumbersome as it’s not a hotel - the building is managed by a property company and every unit is individually owned or rented or an air b n b. You need to show your passport, provide the email from Janet to them, and then they will allow you up. This is not a fault of Janet, just the busyness off the lobby dealing with multiple properties and people coming and going. If you don’t have data for Phillipines you won’t have wifi access outside of the unit for example at pool or gym. You’ll only be able to use wifi at the unit itself.
My connecting flight home was suddenly cancelled late, and reschuleed for 24 hours later, and after a gruelling 20 hour transit from Portugal, I was needing a comfortable place to stay with a pool, nearby food venues etc, and a gym to refresh. Albeit quite far from the airport, Janet’s unit is excellent. Has everything a solo traveller needs and is well equipped. Her communication was excellent and she made it easy to check in. She even allowed me (at a Cost) to stay for late check out as my flight wasn’t until midnight. The wifi is strong, the bed is comfortable and the air con is strong. Pool is relaxing and I used it as well as the gym. Janet leaves you a grocery store card also which you use next door. There’s ATMs next door by the Landers grocery store and it’s easy to find food and coffee around the area. It’s great location for a solo traveller who was stranded for 24 hours and even provided soaps and gels for shower. Janet has excellent professionalism And was so kind to me.

AustraliaPros: Some staff are very helpful. They would offer to help us carry our bags and other heavy grocery items all the way to our unit without expecting for anything in return. This to me is a true to traditional Filipino service. Cons: Some of the doormen were a bit racist and I find it very very annoying! As a good count of people who walk in and out of the main foyer entrance are Caucasians, and we are brown Filipinos, we felt harassed each time we walked in to the foyer because we kept getting asked whether we were “Visitor or Owner”? And each time I answered “renter”, then they’d ask, “What Unit?”. This to me sounded very discriminatory and it made us feel pissed off each time we walked in to our unit. The doormen who kept asking such questions did not even bother providing the formal context that were only doing this for security purposes. And from my observation, white people never got intercepted at the foyer with such questions.
The location - it is in prime real estate, close to basic and fancy dining options alike, the groceries, and it is easy for Grab drivers and riders to find it. It is a short ride away from St. Lukes Medical Centre - BGC. The foyer smells of Chanel Mademoiselle Eau de Perfume. The interior design of the unit is well curated, it is not huge but the zones inside it implicitly states what each square meter can be used for. The owner is lovely, who provided well-thought out response to all my Enquiries within hours.
