Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesThe way through the parking. It’s rough road and I’m so scared that our car will get scratched on both sides coz it’s super narrow. But thank God it never did!
The tiny house is cute, cozy, clean and very comfortable to stay with.

PhilippinesThe road towards the property was really bumpy, I'd get nervous everytime we passed by. You also need to be/an experienced driver as the size of the road leading to the unit can be a bit challenging though Ms. Rhea mentioned their clan has plans to build a paved road for easier & safer access. I also wish the bathroom's bigger as space can be tight for guests on the heavier side.
The unit's cute, cozy, homey, clean & very quiet esp. at night. You can relax all day & night. Great for couple & small family. No-frills. Dr. Viray's nice & responsive. His staff were also friendly & reliable. Kudos to one of the staff who went out of his way to fix the unit's access to Netflix. The property also observes proper waste segregation. Tip: guests need to bring their own bath towels & toiletries. If they plan to cook, they need to bring their own forks & spoons, cooking oil & dishwashing paste/liquid. Butane can be purchased fr. Ms. Rhea. Drinking water w/ hot & cold dispenser and refrigerator were provided & well-appreciated.

PhilippinesTowels are not free (150 each). Only smaller vehicles can fit parking. Luckily, our car can fit but it's a bit hard to maneuver. Someone can drive your car tho so you can park without issues (like a valet style).
Bang for the buck. Hospitable property manager/s. Quiet and peaceful location. Complete package. Cheap yet clean! Definitely worth coming back for.

Traveling w/a senior and three kids, it feels safe to know that the caretaker lives beside your home. It is cozy, has parking space, they have heater! It is clean. Two TVs, netflix & wifi. The host and caretaker will check up on you to make sure that you are ok. They are so kind. You can also cook there and just chill. We want to go back to this house. Thank you!

PhilippinesThe entrance to the house itself can be challenging to bring a car into as it's a very steep and narrow incline. Not really convenient if you plan to be in and out of the house most of the day and can also be difficult for guests with a handicap. If you choose not to bring your vehicle in however, the staff will direct you to a safe and secured parking lot nearby so it won't really be too big of a problem.
The location of the house is right in the middle of the city. We brought our own vehicle but I assume it's easier to get around to/from it by cab or Grab. The house itself is very comfortable if you're only looking for a place in the city to go home in the evening to while spending the day outside. Drinking water in a dispenser is provided. We didn't get to try Ms. Rhea's burgers as advertised in the house guidelines but maybe next time! The patio and the swing outside is nice to get in some of the morning Baguio sun. Dr. Viray is very easy to get in touch with for concerns about the booking and the staff at the house is also easy to talk to.

PhilippinesThe glass below the mirror in the bathroom is a little low, and I kept bumping my head on it. the way to the villa is a little bumpy.
Dr. Arnold, Ms. Rhea, and the rest of the family are extremely accommodating and kind. The first time we went there, we had trouble figuring out how to get our car inside, but Kuya offered to drive us, and everything went smoothly. Ms. Rhea greeted us warmly when we arrived, and we had a pleasant experience overall. We had no idea what to expect from our first visit to Baguio, but Villa Viray exceeded our expectations. The heater is extremely useful, and the villa feels like home. What I liked the most is the swing because it's a perfect coffee place and a place to muni-muni. Nice internet and lighting. We brought our Husky, and they welcomed him as well. I will definitely return and recommend this to my friends and family.

PhilippinesWhile we understand that cooking inside the house is not allowed (hence the area outside), I think it would help future guests if there was a microwave oven on-site :) It would be good especially for people who would rather takeout food or cook earlier then just reheat their food. This, I think, would really be a big help especially since food gets cold rather quickly up there. As a big person, I also have a small suggestion to move the mirror stand a little higher from the sink, I had to adjust a little when brushing my teeth and gargling. Haha! A small suggestion, but nonetheless easy to adjust on my part.
It's a lovely hidden gem of a place! Me and my brother stayed for four days, and the hosts, from sir Arnold to Ms. Rhea and her family, were very helpful every step of the way. There's an area for cooking, (make sure to bring your butane or gasul), and the two of us were able to maximize the house even on the rainy afternoons by just checking what's on in Netflix or YouTube in the TV. In terms of location, I'd say it's not exactly in the middle of the city, so expect to drive or take a taxi to get to the main area (e.g. SM, Burnham, etc). For us, we didn't mind. It allowed us to have peace and quiet at night. As a heads-up, if you're bringing a vehicle, the drive up to the inside of the property may pose a challenge (though after a quick demo from them, we got the hang of how to drive and park our car). From past experiences, their Wi-Fi is much more reliable compared to hotels I've stayed in! We were able to get decent connection for up to six devices (including the two TVs on-site). I'd like to mention too that Ms. Rhea was quick to attend to our small requests, from the refill of the water dispenser and her lending us her spare butane when ours ran out in the middle of cooking. I would definitely consider staying again here, even if by myself in the future. The design of the house also gave me an idea of what I would like in the future if I have my own condo unit or personal space :)

United StatesThe house is very cozy and clean. We like the fact that you can take a walk to most of the tourist destination which is also good for exercise. :) The house is so cute and my kids love it -- specially the shower heater. This place just fit our family. We would definitely recommend it to our family and friends, and rent it again next time. Thanks Ms. Rhea!

PhilippinesIt would have been better to have a proper mirror in the living room haha. And the bathroom is pretty small.
The place was really clean, and very homey. Plus the hosts were very kind to let us early check-in and check-out late, since there are no guests ahead from us. Regarding the location, it's in the residential area but very safe and quite too. We just had a hard time, since we don't have a car, but there's a road near the place where a lot of taxis drive by, and its just 50 pesos going to Burnham Park. Wi-Fi was pretty fast as well, and there's 2 TV, both with Netflix and YouTube. Also, loved the backyard where we had our breakfast
