How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lots of traffic noise

Other than the room directly over the street it was all ok

The location to airport very good, breakfast was amazing and the driver (Ervin)who picked us up from the airport was very accommodating. I will surely recommend this hotel to my friends.

It would be useful to have a map layout of all the power points and electric plugs and what they do without trial and error of finding where everything is and what it does.
I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to the airport because I arrived in Cebu at 1:00 am. They included airport transfers in the price so it was a no brainer to stay there. The driver was already waiting when I got through immigration, which was good. Location wise was average being on a very busy road. You have to have been to the Philippines to understand when I mention the traffic. The bed and pillow was particularly comfortable.

Note that the shuttle to the airport only runs every hour so check with reception in advance. Wanted to use the multi gym equipment but was told this was under maintenance

The bathroom sink did not drain well, it was no big deal I made an adjustment
Great place to stay for a layover for air Travelers no back aches from the beds customer service was outstanding, adjacent shopping mall one block away on the same side of the street Lapu-Lapu overall is a great experience to stay there this is my fourth time staying at this hotel.

Next to a busy road where you have to negotiate the busy traffic to cross!
Not too far from the hotel However,it did take 1 hour in the rush hour, and only 10 minutes the next morning for a domestic flight

Noisy dogs and roosters next door. Hallway noise. Terrible chicken dinner. Poor area for walking. No pedestrian crossings to the other side of the busy 4-lane street. Other than proximity to the airport, I wouldn't stay here long.

Everything went well. I just hope there's a bidet in the toilet.

The rooster, aka Fred, decided that reveille must be held at 0300 each morning. But hey, we’re in the Philippines so you should expect it. Cross the street at your own risk.
Overall the stay exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was adequate and kept with the pricing for the room. The staff was courteous, professional and very helpful accommodating our requests.

My room was next to a generator or electric system that was very noisy during the night and it emitted a lot of light. It did make it challenging to sleep.
The people were super friendly, and communication was quick and very helpful. The room and establishment were very clean.
