I got one of the two smaller rooms that is cooled with a fan rather than a/c. I am too soft, too modernized, too spoiled to live without a/c in the tropics. But that was on me, as the larger accommodations there all have a/c.

Marvie and Barry could not have been more personable or helpful. From showing me surf breaks, to taking us to a swimming hole, to giving advice on local restaurants and everything Siargao, they went above and beyond. Also, I really enjoyed the food in Pacifico. For such a small town, there were several restaurants to chose from and I ate very well.

- Our hut got a little warm but there is a fan and windows/doors with fly nets so you can have them open and there are other rooms with AC available

- Lovely hosts - Great location - walking distance to Pacifico and a short drive on the scooters to other sites (including Lokal Lab’s Tropical Academy if you wanted to do a farm tour or volunteer - Easy to hire bikes on site - Nice outdoor communal areas - New shared bathroom - Close to beach - Good wifi - The site is quiet, very peaceful and just a really nice place to hang out

We don’t usually leave reviews however we felt obliged to in this case. Barry and his wife Marvie were super helpful, welcoming and consistently went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. For example, they offered us to join them on a trip to the big supermarket on Siargao (about an hour away) and also invited everyone staying at Weeroona to join them and their friends for a barbecue, feeding probably 10+ mouths a lot of food, all for free! In addition to this, after we had left one of us had a medical emergency and Marvie was so helpful in pointing us in the right direction of good hospitals, ferry times and organising transfers for us, purely out of her own willingness to help. It’s acts of kindness like this that really makes a difference to one’s time whilst away and has left a truly lasting impression. The beds were comfortable, bathroom in good condition and wifi was very good. The location is also perfect, right opposite the beach and not far from the other amazing beach towns of the North. They do offer moped rental and at a very reasonable price too and can arrange surf lessons for you. Weeroona is hands down the best accommodation experience we have had whilst travelling and I would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone thinking of going to Pacifico. Room is not the biggest but totally fine for a few days

We felt super welcome in this lovely place and got a lot of help concerning our plans, renting of scooters, transport to the airport, island hopping and restaurant recommendations etc. Room was clean, comfortable and AC was working well. Location is quiet but in walking distance to nice restaurants and close to the beach. Can only recommend this place :)

The owners are very welcoming and friendly couple who gave us great recommandations for restaurants and places to visit. They showed us parts of the northern island on a motorbike ride on the first day. Rental of bikes and surfboards as well as lessons possible to fair prices. Great place for a local warm and local experience❤️

Perfect place to stay in Pacifico area, lovely host! The room, shared facilities (kitchen w/ coffee/tea, snacks and cooking supplies) and scooter rental were impressing. This accommodation is for sure one of the best we had so far while staying in Siargao! Host had great tips for us to visit in the north of the island, we really liked the place “dirty kitchen” for our morning coffee. Stunning view! Other than that; this location is located right in between all the surfspots in the north-east of the island. Thanks for having us!!!!

Not a direct fault of the property but note that if you have a 'Smart" sim-card, you won't get any service in Pacifico. Wifi was also pretty hit or miss, but again - not a direct fault of the property.

Great little stay in Pacifico, super friendly owners that were very laid back and informative of the local area. Rented us a scooter which was brand new and in great condition and had a full tank of fuel. Room was large and had a great clean, bathroom. Walking distance to the beach and local restaurants, although a scooter or motorbike is definitely recommended to see all that the north of Siargao has to offer.

I appreciate the help of the owners that cares for the homestay Pacifico. They are helpful to help negotiate with bikers to take us to places. I enjoyed the time being there . It's was quiet, safe and owners are always smiling everytime we see them. They give out some good food suggestions and generous to help us when we need help.
