Rooms are a bit overcrowded with furniture, there are 2 large seaters in the room which take up a lot of space, and one seater would be absolutely sufficient (less is more) No continental breakfast

We paid twice as more than locals and we also specifically said we will be paying in cash. Yet the property or booking.com took payment from my card without informing me. That was a huge inconvenience.

The dinner from room service at Chalet Islamabad was enjoyable, but the requirement to pay in cash on the spot was disappointing. It would be better if they offered card or online payment options for more convenience

There was no lift so movement from upper floor to basement has been challenge for old people. Stronge recommention to put up a lift.

Room was a little too small, especially the washroom. Lounge wasn't properly managed to entertain guests (as per hotel policy).

Staff was very well mannered, welcoming and pleasant. Room was neat and clean and bed was very comfortable. Presence of study stable/make-up counter made it even better. I had had a very bad experience at another hotel (in another city) before my stay here and after that Chalet seemed like heaven. Aminities provided were excellent quality.

Some facilities, such as the bathroom, was old and not maintained well. The staff was attentive when you ask something but the daily housekeeping was not to the international standard (e.g. the shower gell and the shampoo were not refilled). The bathtowels were clean but yellowish.

The staff was polite and attentive to your needs. The price was good for the location in the government - diplomatic area. The rooms are sizable and comfortable. They provide many pillows of different types that you can arrange them to your comfort.

The Sofa seats in the room were dirty, the clock was not working ... The Reception staff at the time of check out was a bit rude .. 😕

There was confusion over the upgrade rate and honestly I still didn't understand how I got charged !! The reception guy did apologise. Overall I feel like the rates were over what should have been charged during off-season in Ramadan when few people travel. Breakfast was a bit sad. 2 bananas and an apple plonked on a plate is not what I call breakfast fruit. The paratha was lovely though. I didn't know I could eat in the coffee shop because no one told me about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I chose to upgrade to Executive room and it was a lovely comfortable room with plush decor and the shower felt so good. I stayed 2 nights and appreciated the welcome tea & biscuits after a long day out. Location is excellent.
