Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The location is great. MM alam road is easily accessible for all sorts of activities be it food, grocery or shopping. Mr Taimoor, the property manager, was very hospitable, and he made sure our stay was comfortable. Great value for money. Can't expect more at this price.

Pakistanthe booking staff of lokal company had no clue of the booking at check in and made an ugly scene blaming booking.com and all. breakfast not good not recommended. washroom sinks not comfortable. tv could be smart tv like at roomy hotel chain or could have better cable connection. no views from windows.

The layout and style of the room was amazing. Very simple yet sophisicated. AC rooms with a really good shower. Polite staff and although there were one or two issues, feedback was taken on board.

PakistanThe water in the bathroom was never properly hot. It was lukewarm at best. It wasn't fixed despite me asking the front desk. On day 2, i left my keys at the reception at 11am for the room to be cleaned, but when I came back 5 hours later, it wasn't cleaned. There was a periodic loud banging noise coming from the top, and this happened sometimes in the middle of the night. When I asked the reception, they said it was because of some plumbing issue with the geysers. The noise was there throughout my stay.
Location is very central, and provides good value for money. On my last day, a gentleman showed up saying they were my Lokal host, and if I needed ay assistance. It would've been nice if they'd come earlier during the stay.

PakistanHorrible staff and services. They lie and misrepresent for their profits. Especially working women should be cautious with Lokal rooms. They do not understand hospitality and have no qualms in being dismissive and not claiming responsibility for their establishment and management of reservations.
I reached the property at night around 9:00 pm. I was charged 10k as per my reservation and an additional 1k (credit). The staff took my luggage and I was shocked to find out that it was not the Lokal room I booked. I asked the staff and he casually said that Lokal rooms are not available; even though I had booked and paid for a Lokal room. The room was sub-standard, dirty and stinking. I contacted the Lokal room representative (Farhan) complaining about what happened. The Lokal room representative called me and blamed me for paying for the room at which I became extremely distressed. I was not informed at the time of check-in that a Lokal room is not available. The Lokal room representative, in a condescending tone, blamed me for paying for hotel check-in rather than understanding that I was misrepresented, misled and entrapped by the hotel staff considering that I was traveling alone for work and it was late at night. Then Lokal room guest relations manager (Anees) contacted me and said that he will give me 20% off on my next booking. His offer was not only offensive but refused to rectify the situation I was in. I had important meetings with the Punjab government the next day and I was tired and frustrated dealing with the level of exploitation I was experiencing and how the hotel staff and Lokal room representatives were taking advantage of my situation. Around 10:40 pm I took all my luggage and called a Careem to go stay somewhere else as neither the hotel staff nor the Lokal room representatives were interested in redressing my grievance. I handed over the room keys, neither my paid amount nor credit amount was ever returned to me nor did the staff help me in taking my luggage to my Careem. I will never recommend this establishment to working women as clearly these people didn't flinch at constraining me to leave their hotel late at night to figure out my accommodation. Forget hospitality, these people lack basic humanity and basic decency.

PakistanSmall corridors, people in the rooms were too loud. Premier Inn Grand guests and Lokal guests didn’t have much of a segregation. There were no extensions to charge phones or laptops, and the staff wasn’t very responsive when asked to bring these amenities

PakistanThe design is great but beneath the surface, everything is falling apart. We had booked their Gulberg rooms but were told upon on time arrival for check in that they had given our room to someone else because of a technicality (none of which was communicated with us beforehand). They then forcibly relocated us to the Cavalry Grounds hotel and the experience there was abysmal. No heated water at all. This was on New Year's eve; one might as well not run a hotel if they can't offer hot water given how cold it was. We of course asked them to resolve the issue, but then it became a circus of staff just constantly coming and going from our room; each person giving us different instructions and expectations. This went on for 3 hours during which we were simply unable to relax because the staff was visiting. We never got hot water and eventually just gave up and were forced to take a cold shower. Eventually we discovered the toilet's flush didn't work. The TV didn't turn on. The inverter heater mysteriously stopped working in the morning. They didn't make up the room when we left it in the night for New Year's celebrations (even though we'd left the card instructing them to do so). When I would call me travel companion (the person from Lokal responsible for our stay), some fellow named Farhan, his brother would answer. When I told the staff all of this at check out, they told me I should've informed them. Frankly, you couldn't even get the heated water working despite multiple attempts; I didn't need a whole team of people once again coming and going for each of these issues only for them to not be resolved. Most bizarrely, they refused to offer glasses to us alongside the water bottle we'd ordered. The staff member was very cagey about it; like what's wrong with giving us glasses? I'm trans and I could tell that there was some prejudicial assumptions about us.
The room was exactly as displayed; quite tastefully designed. The complimentary breakfast was okay, nothing remarkable. The view outside the room was cute in that we saw New Year's Fireworks.

Pakistanwashrooms had this weird smell at times, I believe the property is a little old thats why otherwise superb.
Very convenient location, near to MM Alam road & DHA both, very big rooms and all amnesties available on site. Lokal is maintaining standards. This was proper value for money, Taimur our Lokal rep was as always very friendly and helpful, Allah Baksh the cleaner boy was also very supportive. We stayed with kids and the room had ample of space for them, loved the interior that LOKAL does! keep it up guys!!
