How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Best place to stay here everything available in just one minute walking distance, I stayed here 3 nights with my faimly and I’m so impressed by the staff who’s give us our kitchen for free even no any demand for extra charges, I recommend to all families they can stay here it’s is very nice lodge and comfortable

work on hotel management of the services......upgrade the services by per person staying in the lodge.....we can also upgrade the washrooms with toiletriesnand cleanliness.....proper ventilation options to be done
near to our lodge was a market full of options of food, pharmacy and many more useful things few steps away from the lodge and excellent view with great security we had a lot of options dinner so we opted best

None, I had some understanding of the place before I booked so I would say it met my expectations.

it was quite overwhelming experience. it was truely a home away from home. Room was neat and clean especially the bed sheets. No bad smell at all in the room when i arrived. I slept like a baby in the room whole night. Extra towels, soap, tissue roll, water, iron. All the things were provided even without asking. The staff was cooperative. I lost my key of the room and locks needed be change due to that so they change the locks within half an hour and didnt even charge me anything. i was quite impressed by that. The owner of the lodge is very friendly and understanding and knows how to treat guests. Would highly recommend this as i would be staying defintely at this lodge again when going to Isb.

Furniture was old. Poshish beds were old. It is not a purpose built hotel rather a home turned into a hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Madcrew Lodge during my trip to Pakistan, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. One person who stood out during my stay was Daniyal. He was incredibly helpful and professional, always going above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. Whether it was offering recommendations for local attractions or assisting with any inquiries I had, Daniyal's dedication to excellent service truly made my stay memorable. As an overseas Pakistani, I found the Madcrew Lodge to be the perfect accommodation choice. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, the location was convenient, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Pakistan, whether you're from overseas or a local resident.
