We had to wait a bit in the cold outside to check in and also there is no discount for the guests in the hotel restaurant which I believe would be fair given the prices.

Better service. The staff was very stressed out (even though they tried their best) and wasn’t able provide timely service due to not enough staff hired for the very busy weekend (this is a complain to the owner not to the staff). I noticed they tried to pleased the German clients first, though.

It was hard to get the keys. The booking.com gave us a number to send an SMS to and confirm the arrival time. When we arrived at the property everything was closed and we had to call different numbers that were on the doors, but no one answered. Finally, we reached one of the staff members, later she informed us that the number that booking.com gave us is for the restaurant that doesn't work on Mondays.

Rooms are good for it's price, the staff was friendly and helpful.

It was hard to get into the hotel - as a warning to future visitors, the hours that are available for reception are limited to the hours that the restaurant downstairs is open. None of the contact numbers given on the door of the hotel work. If you are arriving with children or luggage, make sure that you contact the hotel in advance!

It was great to be on the Polish side of the border! Great restaurants nearby. We had a lovely stay.

There was smell from the kitchen in the whole building inclusing the rooms. Our room was very small. The shadows on roof windows weren’t working properly, so we were woken up by the light in our face in the morning.

Location is very good, walking distance to the centre of Gorlitz on German side. Restaurant of the hotel is pretty good. It seemed that locals visit it as well.

Looks like they tried to get rid of mice with ULTRASOUND devices hanging outside the windows, but will get rid of returning guests) It will not let you sleep untill you close the windows in a room without conditioning.

The location of the hotel is pretty good if you do not pay too much attention to the unfinished buildings around.

Hotel is attached to abandoned house without windows . Pictures on booking are not accurate to what it looks like . The hotel is very old definitely needs renovation. Old carpets and furniture . Downstairs hallway next to restaurant smells of burned cooking oil .

We were absolutely disappointed by the staff. We made a reservation more than a week before our visit. We informed the staff about our planned time of arrival. There was no answer. Since the reservation was confirmed by Booking.com, we headed to our destination arriving a few hours earlier than planned. The door of the hotel was locked and no one responded to our phone calls. I sent several messages by email, on my booking app, two SMS messages but to no avail. After two hours of hassle we finally reached the hostess by phone, who started yelling at us that we had not called her. Interestingly, she did that in Polish without a single word in English, even though I don't speak Polish. The lady did not bother to speak in English; I don't think she has ever done that at all. After about three hours after arrival we got into the hotel and did have a chance to stay there overnight. However, the impression about the stay is rather nightmarish. I would be happy if my message helped other people choose the right place for their stay.

The place was rather nice. The hotel overlooks a river and is quiet.

Quite dusty. Water pressure was also lacking so that one could not shower for more than 2-3 minutes until the water ran out. Otherwise OK.

i booked this hotel the same day I planed to check in. Apparently hotel has their reception open only till midnight (?!) Due to road delays I could not make it until 12 midnight. Hotel cancelled my check-in. I managed to stay at another lovely hotel in town that was open 24/7. I do not recommend this place.

We booked an apartment but instead got a very small room. The double bed was very short. The shower was broken, the tv was facing the ceiling and couldn’t be moved, and it was so loud outside that you couldn’t get any rest. We also received a very unpleasant welcoming from the staff. For this amount of money I would not recommend this hotel. If you want a rest after your journey, think twice before you stop here.
