I came really late at night for my 2nd night to discover that someone was sleeping in my bed. There was no one in the reception, the manager did not pick up the phone and all other beds were taken. I had to sleep in the main room on the sofa. I called the manager day after to explain the situation. It was an apparent mistake on their side, but I was apologized and in the process of claiming the refund. My opinion may be skewed, but I was a bit miserable for several hours in the morning due to that incident. Also some of the staff members at the reception don't speak Polish nor English.

Property itself is not a top notch. But price is also very cheap so you don’t expect much. But at night there is no 24/7 reception so when I had other people in other rooms yell at night and play loud music, no one could help. I called them as I did not feel safe but no one picked up. They said I should not expect service in the middle of the night and I should call police. It’s fine that I speak some Polish, but for some other foreign girl this could have been a really traumatic experience. I do not recommend this place for female travellers. I did not feel safe. Good that police arrived and set them straight. I did need to leave the room again to open police which honestly made me scared.

felt like a halfway house. A lot of the guests seemed to live there which is fine but when they’ve completely made themselves at home, keep the lights on til 1am

Beds could be higher, some of wooden parts were broken, and it's pretty noisy. Kitchen wasn't clean, 1 refrigerator wasn't functioning, and the 2nd was very dirty. The smell in the kitchen is disgusting! I had to throw my food into trash, because after this refrigerator, I wouldn't eat it! One of two cabins in men's toilet wasn't functioning, the other one was dirty.

The check in... There was no one at the reception upon arriving, and when I called the provided phone number I was told to ask my mother to let me inas she was already in the room. The door had a code which wasn't provided only after the 2nd call I had to make - as this information wasn't provided at the empty reception desk either. There was no wi-fi available in the room. If you needed a cup/glass there were none either. The beds were just awful..... I've never slept on such a screechy bed before... you woke up once you've turned in it.

It was close to the train station, you could walk 'til there. The room was clean and we could heat it with an electric radiator.

Kitchen was a bit dirty but well equiped and in general well taken care of. I had a bit of trouble to find the entry but probably that was just me! Just look for the Wella. Also as I said staff replies very fast so they can probably help you if you have any trouble.

Check in is comfortable and easy. Staff is friendly and answers very fast. Other guests are very nice too. Bathrooms were clean. I never had to wait to use neither bath or kitchen even though there's a few guests. Power sockets next to the beds, towels and bed linen provided for free, also coffee and tea :)

There are no sockets in the rooms. Shabby furniture in the lobby. Cold and dirty washroom with no doors in shower cabins. Hostel staff is available from 10 to 18 o'clock only.

The room didn't host other tourists but migrant workers. They had lots of food there as well as stinking dirty clothes (it smelled like socks), lots of empty bottles and food everywhere. It was disgusting. I can understand that such people also need a place to stay but make sure that they keep the rooms clean and that it doesn't smell bad. Outside of the room it's quite cold in this property. I don't recommend this place. More people than beds in the room, no control over who enters this place.

Toilet and common room were cold (you couldn't wear t-shirt and wearing jacket didn't make you hot). There was only one working toilet for all the guests (and there were relatively many). Place seemed a bit dirty and the furniture was a bit random (chairs that are for terrace were used inside). Bed seemed like something that was made for kids so it seemed fragile and you can easily feel if the other person moved under you in the bed. Mattress seemed a bit too slim for some maybe, for me it was okay. Also tbh I found it strange/unsafe that there was only one locked door which was the common door to all of the rooms.

Price for the location is excellent. Kitchen with basic things is provided which is also extra for the price. Check-in/check-out was flexible and easy.

Cleanliness in the room and kitchen. Mould and dampness in bathrooms. Lack of extractor fan in the bathroom. Horrible old and laundered and damaged bed linen which is less than the size of a mattress.

Welcoming receptionist Philip who helped me check in despite my late arrival. Very positive and cheerful person. Philip thank you so much you are the best , It's because of staff like you that you overlook the shortcomings of the accommodation.

Especially common areas of hostel are cold.

Receptionist is very friendly, kind person and he is also very interested in his job. I have never come across a receptionist who cares so much about his job. You can definitely feel at this hostel like your home. Location is great, you can go old town by walking. The room is clean, nice, cozy place. And If I come one day in Warsaw, I would choose again this hostel.

I was disappointed with the wi-fi connection: it didn't work. I used to like this hostel, it is my third time here, but internet is crucial for me, I usually choose places where I can work for some hours. This time I couldn't work at all because of the poor connection
