Clean and well organised hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. The day we were leaving we left our luggage at the reception till late at the evening, which was a huge help.

Only negative point about this hotel is that the beds were average comfort. Could be better.

Hotel room very clean and all facilities working, well maintained and looked after hotel with friendly staff. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others staying and I really enjoyed my stay.

The room itself was perfectly fine, small but nice and clean. And even though we were on a main tram line street, we didn't notice much outside noise as long as the windows were closed. The problem was the bed. It was not comfortable at all and neither were the pillows. Time for a new mattress and better pillows. Also, time to replace the shower heads with more practical ones. The rainshower head style is not ideal for rinsing hair as there is barely any pressure.

We really liked Hotel Lavender, the location was great, with a quick 15-20 minute walk to Main Market Square. The staff were fantastic! They answered all the questions we had and helped us arrange a tour, as well as a cab to the train station early in the morning on the day we left. We also enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor patio with our own beverages, it provided us a place to put our feet up, or if the heat of the sun.

I was looking for hotel with parking by filter, however, no parking in the hotel. You should find the parking in 5-10 minutes from the hotel. Coffee at the bar wasn’t tasty.

Not really a problem, just a note: the price is a bit too high, though we booked a room from today to today, it may be the reason. It would be nice to have a bed sheet which fits the size of the bed and not significantly smaller.

Amazing place! Reception desk is available 24/7. We could store our luggage for free before the check-in. Perfect location close to the Old Town.

If you are a light sleeper, do not go for the rooms opening to the street. The tram noise throughout night will not let you have proper sleep even with earplugs. I was staying for two nights and luckily I was able to change the room for the second night. They also had some internet problems, which they were eventually able to fix.

Location is good, short walk from main square. The rooms are decent and comfortable.

Cons: not really any negatives. Room may benefit from coffee instead of just tea bags and perhaps a box of tissues in the room.

Pros: comfortable beds, clean, excellent staff, breakfast onsite, close to City Center yet far enough to be quiet, lots of good places to eat nearby, close to train station, hotel offer tours to Auschwitz and Salt mines.

Room 45 . The only negative part was the shower tray filled up with water very quickly, so could only have a short shower as it was nearly over flowing due to partial blocked plug hole. There was no air-conditioning remote control in room on our first night. Had to phone reception in the night to ask for the remote control as room got hot and stuffy.

Very comfortable room. Bed was spacious and comfy and the pillows were soft. The facilities were very modern. The shower had great water pressure. Charging ports beside the bed. Rooms cleaned everyday & new towels provided everyday too. The hotel is in a perfect location about 10-15 min walk into the old town. There is always a staff member at reception which is ideal. Great value for money. They also let us check in early as our room was available early which was fantastic.
