How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The property was great. It was centrally located just off the main square yet it was quiet and peaceful. The room was large with comfortable furniture and well equipped kitchenette. The gentleman was very friendly and let us store our bags on the day of checkout until our train connection. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

At the weekend there can be loud on the street, but you could expect this. Just take your ear plugs with and you will be fine. The fridge was a bit too cold, everything we put in froze over. Couldn't find where to set the temperature. Please also note that there are a lot of steep stairs and no lift. The apartment is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility.
Excellent location, easy to walk around or catch a tram or a bus anywhere in Warsaw. Central location, but a peaceful place. I would definitely stay again. All in all a very pleasant stay!

The room had an uncoverable skylight that made it so that it would be super bright very early, which made us wake up earlier than usual. My main issue wasn't about the stay there, but rather with the transfer they provided. I was told that the driver would take credit card, but after arriving at our destination, we were told that he didn't. Luckily I had some Euros on me from a prior trip and was able to pay him, but that definitely cost more than the arranged price. After we checked in, the driver sent us two very angry WhatsApp audios (in Polish) that I'm at least 40% had something in there about us. He said the *most common polish curse word* multiple times and at some point said something about Złoty and Euro. For my return to the airport, I ordered a Bolt, which was 50 Złoty cheaper. Beware - this is unrelated to the stay! Everything good still trumps this one bad experience.
This place is amazing. We were both baffled with how everything just comes together. It's greatly located in the Old Town, has a huge comfy bed and has all the facilities you might expect. The TV was somewhat meh and they had a DVD player there, which was interesting. The room was full of drawers with interesting stuff to look at, that was definitely part of the experience. Right on the same building there are two excellent locations to visit: Same Fusy, an amazing tea place that has the quietest mellowest vibe and serves all kinds of different teas and Same Krafty, a bar with lots of beer options and a great Burger (seriously, it was really good). The host was very friendly and the check in experience was painless. The price! How is this place so cheap? I actually do think they should charge more, it's definitely worth more.

Lovely,big studio apartment with everything you could need.Loads of radiators to keep you cosy if the temperature dropped which it did...slap bang in the old town so fantastic location..a short walk to all attractions and bars/restaurants. Would recommend and I stay here again if I return. Thank you for the spare toiletries in the bathroom,they were handy as I had forgotten something. Nice comfortable big bed too. Was v happy with my choice. Lovely cafe bar and beautiful basement bar too in the same building.Handy!!

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel. Everything was just what we needed and more. Brilliant!
The location was exceptional! the property was full of character and had everything you would need for an amazing city break. The host was amazing, friendly, accommodating and flexible in all he did to help us with our trip. I honestly cannot recommend the hotel enough and will definitely be back asap. I can skip step classes when I visit here - there are a few stairs hahahaha!)

Nothing all wonderful
It was a beautiful apartment with lots of wooden furniture..extremely clean with everything you would need for a short stay ..the location was fantastic.. downstairs there was a lovely coffe house and in the basement a cafe beautifully decorated which sold lots of teas ..they also had their own bar ..although there was lots of traditional restaurants and cafes around to visit too

Slguhtly noisy outside on the weekend but this was no fault of the owners. Other than this everything was perfect!
The room was HUGE and so unexpected. We couldn't believe the value for money. It was right on the old town square and could not have been a better location. Perfect for a romantic getaway and the staff were so friendly. Would happily stay again :)
