Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWebsite wasn't up to date, horses were no available to see or go riding. Pictures would lead you to believe its more remote, its in a small village, not in the middle of the countryside.
Hotel was beautiful inside and out, room was very comfortable, clean, bright, large and quiet. Owners dog gave us a tour of the adjacent farm and vineyard and back to the hotel again. And then joined us in the bar for some well deserved petting. Breakfast was very good and a good selection of local produce.

PolandQuiet location, in the middle of the village (which itself is hardly nice). Nice large garden/park. Very good food, almost all local for breakfast (cheese, bread, jams, vegetables, ham). Friendly staff. Wines from the estate (and no other, so you if fancy non-Polish ones beware).

GermanyNo wifi in most bedrooms, but only in the common parts. Dwor Sanna is aspiring to be a spa-style destination hotel, but that is hard to reconcile with the fact that the bathroom products consist of one squeezy bottle of unidentified liquid soap.
Dwor Sanna is a countryside hotel, set in very lovely trees and gardens. Peanut, a wonderfully friendly collie, is on hand to welcome all guests. We very much enjoyed a beer in the gardens after the long drive to get there. The products - wine, cheeses, pickles etc - produced on the estate are excellent, and available for sale.

GermanyNo toiletries no slippers no robe No spa - you can have a massage but only in your room which I found quite a bit strange. No golf (which was in the description. I called before and was told it’s not there any more but I see it’s still in the description so I mention it) Meals are hit and miss. For breakfast some Items we ordered were missing but no one informed us when we were ordering - for example we ordered a baguette with ham and egg and we received a BURGER BUN. Seriously? The other option was missing a croissant, on another day I got a milk soup instead of porridge. It was tasty but the point is communication which was missing. Roasted veg spaghetti is zoodles- this was not clear from the menu when ordering. I mentioned this to the waitress and she only said - it’s different isn’t it. The point is the menu was misleading… Pierogi is with coleslaw - I do not reccommend it. From the menu it sounds like it will be with cheese and vegetables… Before arriving I called with a question and was told I’d receive a call back. Never got that call back. there is so much staff there at all times and all look busy all the time. It just feels like there are some management issues where people end up concentrating on wrong things. It’s all a big shame. We are in the area a lot and we were really hoping we might have found a real gem we could return to many times :(
Overall it was a disappointment. Outside area is very pretty and relaxing (just bring mosquito spray ;) ) but most of it is not taken care of so pristinely. Rooms are beautiful and I can’t fault them besides the fact that internet is quite weak and tv has only basic free polish channels and even they keep disconnecting and losing signal Some meals are outstanding like steak or duck (some are not at all though) We still had a relaxing couple of days. It’s really beautiful there but the place is let down by small easily fixable management issues.
