A/c did not seem to be working - our room was warm but when we opened the window, cigarette smoke smelled aweful.

Location, location, staff was super nice and accommodating. Breakfast and bar food were excellent. Bedroom was comfortable. Very happy with everything there but the location was the key.

Very easy place to stay because there were no any problems and service was polite and fast. Desserts on breakfast and pan cakes are worth of extra mentioning. Short way of walk to all places and very good restaurants only few steps away from hotel.

The rooms on the main street are very, very noisy from the trams all day and night! No choice of pillows.

We thought the Room was lovely - very big and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We also had dinner two nights and that was delicious and well presented.

We are a family with 4 y.o. child. We wanted him to sleep on a separate bed. Hotel personnel via the booking service asked if we needed an extra bed for a child and we were told that it would cost 60 zł. They didn’t specify that this price was PER NIGHT. We agreed on that thinking that it would be just extra 60 zł. It turned out, that there was a small sofa in the room that could be transformed into a bed, I believe that every room has such a sofa. We stayed in the room for 3 nights and had to pay 180 zł only for the fact that they transformed this sofa into a bed and provided bedsheet/pillow/blanket. We were traveling by car and for sure could take an extra blanket from home and not to pay for it. Of course, we also were able to transform a sofa by ourselves. At the same time it is said in the description of the hotel, that staying for a child is free. So I don’t understand what is 60 zł for? In addition to the fact that the hotel personnel confused us with the price

The room was rather dark, as there was only one not even big one window. I guess it's due to the old building structure.

I was sceptical at the beginning as the staff at the reception wasn't very friendly, however it changed once we went to the restaurant and for breakfast. The staff there was simply amazing, very helpful and engaged! Katarzyna was the most friendly one and made the stay very comfortable. The breakfast was rich and tasty.

The only thing we didn't like was all the walking we did when visiting Auschwitz camp!

Loved the hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Loved the Christmas Market right near it and the snow was a welcomed added bonus. Loved krakow, will definitely come back to this hotel.

Local area and location were great. The hotel itself was spacious and clean. The staff were all helpful and polite. The room was a generous size with good facilities (fridge, free bottles of water, kettle, tea, coffee, hairdryer). Bed was comfortable and big. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and good quality. Overall, great value for facilities and location.

This will sound funny, but I would like to have an option to use the towel for a second time! No need to change it every day after I dried my face with it one - I never used all the towels that I have. Other than that, didn’t really notice anything bad

This was a very good hotel I must say. Clean, nice service, welcoming staff, reservation was ready for me, and the reception was there when I arrived late (though I did at ~22:45). In general, really good impression. Coffee and tea were available.

Hotel is centrally located in Krakow from Krakow train station it is approximately 15 minute drive to the Hotel and approximately 20 minutes walk into the Old Town. Golden Tulip Hotel is located on a street where there are shops, bars and many coffee shops so it is easy to find somewhere to eat and go for drinks. Room was spacious, clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, great choice for everyone and very fresh. The receptionists were very kind and friendly and helped us with any tourist information we needed. We ate dinner in the restaurant beside the hotel and food was excellent. We enjoyed our short stay and I would stay at this hotel again.
