How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The noise from outside as well as the neighbouring units was unbearable. We booked 2 units and one of the units had a huge leak right in the doorway when it started raining. The mattresses were thin and not very comfortable.
Central location close to the Old Town. Plenty of public transportation options nearby. Breakfast was good.

Just that the curtains didn't close in the apartment we were in which let in street lamp light which is only minor
Location was only 10-15 mins walk from main square, room had plenty of facilities and was clean. Very near local transport, buses etc. Reception/bar was handy for drinks and food when we arrived.

Nothing to dislike really. It had the basics one needed, I’d perhaps just update some of the kitchenette utilities like the cooking spoon and the pot in our room didn’t have a lid. Also the shower needed a curtain or door, the floor after a shower would be wet.
Location was great. Very close to the city centre, just by walking you can get there in 7-10 minutes. It’s very close to the train station krakow Grzegorski, from there are direct trains going to the airport/salt mines/Auschwitz (Oswięcim)/Oscar Schindler museum….the room was clean, and it has nice curtains if one needs to sleep in.

Although called a studio apartment, it was no bigger than a normal hotel room. Keep this in mind.
Location is great, very close to the old town and train stations.

I stayed 3 nights, my room wasn’t clean any of the days. There was spider webs on the bathroom ceiling, no solar on the soap dispenser either.

Washing machine advertised for use however it isn’t in English and no instructions, one of our loads took 6 hours to finish.
Easy location to get to the Old Town, close to lots of restaurants and sights.

The only negative was a bad smell in the entrance in the small corridor inside the appartment.
The area was perfect near to tram and from there we started easily all our daily tours , the room was clean and confortable The breakfast was very good .

The room was spacious and had much natural light. The place was very clean and the bathroom had a good size. We arrived late at night and the manager was helpful by phone to helped us to find the correct key.

Really cold floor (tile), so you need to have slippers and hotel doesn’t provide ones. Also it’s not perfectly clean (I can see it by my socks) No plates, forks
It’s situated perfectly! Groceries nearby, 5 minutes to old town and Kazimezh, 10-15 to the train/bus station by taxi. Nice breakfast.

A lot of noises during the night from the rooms next door, definitely not kids friendly!
Very nice location, walking distance from the old town and trains to go to the salt mines, Auschwitz-Birkenau and the airport (KRK)! Staff was very friendly and the room was spacious and clean!

Mattress was extremely thin, used to a much more substantial mattress. Also due it being unseasonably warm, it was great having a thermostat but it was set extremely high, despite turning it down, every hour it would revert back to super hot which made it uncomfortable and needing for us to open windows and get up during the night to turn it down
Very spacious, quiet considering a tram runs right outaide, clean and great value for money. Location was perfect for us as we used the trains regularly, and was very easy to get from the airport via train.. Also only a 10 min walk to the main square, but public transport right outside as well which gave us options.. Would definitely stay here again.
