How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The room has two small windows without any curtains, causing it to be very bright by 4:50 a.m., making it difficult to sleep.
The location was convenient. The self-check-in process was simple. The room was tidy, and the bed was cozy. The bathroom was also spotless. Additionally, the room was equipped with a kettle and provided tea and coffee.

Bed is rather hard and carpet in room is in need of replacement.
Super location, ensuite bathroom with nice shower and plenty of hot water. Quiet, good value for money and great for one night. This is my second stay. Liked kettle , coffee and tea ,and hairdryer in the room. Easy check in.

Carpet was stained and a bit sticky. Bed was not very comfortable.

there was no more hot water in the evening... the apartment was clean, but had a weird smell.
good place for one night's stay, located next to the main train station, communication was good, clean room, bathroom.

Wifi reception in my room wasn't super great, but good enough. I didn't explore the building but the atmosphere from the entrance on was more like in a budget hotel than a typical hostel. But maybe I missed some parts because I came late and left early.
I came late in the evening but with the instructions received on the day I could enter the hostel and my room easily, even though there was no one at the front desk at that time. The room was small but very reasonable for a hostel twin room. Very nice to have a kettle and some instant coffee and tea in the room, as well as hot water and coffee/tea and apples at the reception. The short walking distance to Warsaw Central station was really great as I had to catch a morning train. There's also a tram stop right around the corner.

Bed was not comfortable, making noise when moving. Blanket is short for a 180sm person

It would be nice to have a small towel for face or hands. Walls are quite thin, so you can hear your neighbours.
Bathroom was extremely clean. I was surprised pleasantly. Room was quiete nice as showed in the pics. Place is 10 min from the Central railway station. And it was easy to check in and check out. Also to have coffee and tea was very nice.

The smell in corridor was "amazing". One of the bed was broken and very loud, my mattress was sunken.
Good place - 10 min. walk to Science and culture center, but far from old town. Safe parking place (extra fee), easy to check in any time. There is a coffee machine and also some cookies and apples - lovely after long trip:) Despite hostel is in main street, there is calm. Room and common areas was clean.

Beds and mattresses were not super comfy, but acceptable for one night.
Nice place close to Zlote Tarasy and Warszawa Centralna. Self check in, which was very convenient. We liked almost everything.

There are no lockers in the room to use padlock and if you get early there is not possible to leave the bags in reception or any place, but crossing the street there are a baggage locker service.
It's 10 min from central station, very quiet And clean, far from the old town but easy to get there. Good indications to arrive and easy to get from the airport.

A couple of small windows in room could do with a blind or curtain on them to keep out early morning light.
The accommodation was clean, comfortable and accessible with kettle and coffee, tea provided. Would stay again.
