Location is central, small kitchen is available, and bathrooms were clean. Check in is clear and without complicated electronics or similar keys. Good solution in central Torun.

As I said, the bathroom needs some upgrading and cleaning, plus having body wash and such would be a bonus. Adding some sockets near the bed would also be a plus. Finally, while the check-in process was quite simple, having desk staff adds security and peace of mind to a hostel as well as a person who can provide guidance and advice about the city to guests, so this would be something that would add comfort as well.

It was easy to find and located directly in the old town centre, so it is an amazing location. The check-in process was only done through the app and the entire 2 days I stayed I didn't see a single staff member - the front desk was always empty and dark. My room was very noisy in the morning and night because the room was located right next to the kitchen, behind the serving counter, so with all the guests making food at night or in the morning it was like trying to sleep in a restaurant kitchen. The beds were great and the room was warm, but there are no sockets anywhere close to the bed, they were on the other side of the room next to the door. The common areas were good, had a TV, and the kitchen was well-equipped but the bathroom and showers were old, worn, and not the cleanest.

The wi-fi was pure( The problem occurred only in the room but it’s not too comfortable to sit in the kitchen if you need to browse some information. Strangely enough, mobile internet didn’t work in the room as well. It was also a bit cold inside, so no way to get your pajama on)

Location is perfect, right in the city center. I also like how detailed the instructions were even though we checked in after the shift. I also appreciate tea and dishes in the kitchen so that you can make some after a day outside.

We liked it!

A comfortable and characterful hostel in one of the medieval buildings of the 'new town. It's location could not be better, and it was an easy walk in from Torun Miasto railway station (once we had identified the right road in the dark). An excellent hostel in an interesting historic city well worth visiting.

The key collection system probably needs more explanation as it makes you feel a bit insecure before the key finally appears.

Very little sound insulation. When I was there, it seemed like hardly anybody else was there, so no hostel life. Which, due to the thin walls might have been more of a blessing.

The walls were very thin, so one could hear basically everything through the locked doors and across the walls. But everything else was perfect.

The location was exceptional. The kitchen and the bathroom are very comfortable and clean, also the common areas and in general the entire place. Family-friendly (there were a lot of families with small kids) and overall a very good impression.

The curtains were too narrow for me and there were windows right across from my room, so I was worried about privacy. And the walls were thin, I could hear the kids from 2 doors away.

The location was perfect and the bathroom was always clean.

The biggest problem here are extremely thin walls, you can hear absolutely everything. If you have drunken singing neighbors there is no solution. Also, if you want to talk silently in your own room in the night, you can't, because some neighbors might be agressive at you (this happened to us) :(.

Hostel is very well placed, close to the historical centre. Bathrooms are overall clean and equiped. Just the soap in some bathrooms is smelly. We appreciated the possibility of luggage deposit, even thought the reception desk was open no longer than until 14h.

I was given a 3 bed room, being an only person. The room was pathetic and ugly, very depressing, the paint, structure and vibe of the room didn't make me happy at all. Further on... I wanted to cook and eat healthy food, but eventually I found that the "kitchen" just has a microwave and a sink bigger than I've seen in any hostel. I eventually had to buy unhealthy processed food from market and heat it in the microwave. It cost me too much and I feel that I wasted my money in this hostel and I could have chosen a different one with a real " kitchen" instead. I felt weak the next day due to having such bad diet here.

Pretty much nothing was special about the hostel.
