How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Cleanliness. The shower enclosure had visible mould, there was a trace of dirt left on the shower floor. Overall the room gave the impression of not being very clean, but that is probably mostly due to the carpet which was very stained and I did not feel comfortable walking on it barefoot/ in socks only.
Free parking. Room size was OK for a twin. Beds were comfortable. Buffet breakfast was adequate, though I believe the advertised price of PLN 45pp as a walk-in option is way too high for what was offered ( I paid for room + breakfast included, so don't know how much was actually charged for that though). There was a restaurant downstairs open till 9pm so you don't have to venture out for dinner. There's some outdoor space. I only stayed 1 night so cannot comment on spa facilities.

Some far from city center. No daily room make.

A bit Worn out room (even a bit stinky), not fully clean. So to say, Common premises were renovated, modern; but our room not. Average wifi Bar, restaurant, everything closed st 21:30

Friendly staff, helpful. Excellent Spa service. Quiet. No smoke smells. Very convenient for what was needed. Water is rooms great to drink. Layout was very good in room.

Hotel is located in nice and quiet area away from the center of the city, but reachable by foot in 15 - 20 minutes. Hotel has wide parking for hotel guests for free. Very friendly and nice staff. Good breakfast.

A bit noisy at night (four noisy guys arrived 😁). Tv was useless. No dryer for towels. But it didn't spoil good impression.
Breakfast was really good. Really clean.

Gluten free food options very limited. Our family room in building C was facing the construction site across the street, therefore since 6:00 very noisy.
Located on the side of Gizycko (25 minutes walking to port), but with fantastic garden, little lake and great outdoor room to play sports or just relax. Extraordinary friendly and helpful staff. Bike rentals directly at reception. Quite basic continental breakfast, but all food fresh and tasty. Very good pizza and other food in their restaurant.

Spacious room

it was very hot, stuffy, full of bees, so it was impossible to open the window. There was no refrigerator, nothing cold to drink, the beds were very uncomfortable. I'm disappointed.

They had a problem with their reservation sistem - gave as the wrong, smaller room. Hotel is old, inside rooms stinks, many broken parts, needs to be renovated, event in bathroom there were no soap, breakfast is bad quality

Roofs are really thin. We heard a party/gathering upstairs till late night. No AC so it was very warm, no soap near the sink, bit old place

Lot’s of spiders to welcome you at entry, toilet and bathroom smells very bad, bathroom drain was block and smell like urine, toilet was dirty and wobbly.
