Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandJust one minor thing: it was cold in the room, but then we turned on battery and became ok.
Big parking, tasty breakfast, variety of dishes was enough for us. Building itself is very interesting: well renovated but you feel the history. Very good idea with decanter into which you can collect water from the cooler, instead of plastic bottles. Cat is fabulous :) but he was lying in his bad all time we met him - hope he feels good. SPA was not overcrowded - we liked it. Personal is very friendly.

PolandBreakfast was a little cold or with some popular foods gone at time (during the middle of breakfast hours). Inside the room you could hear sounds from the corridor very well, but did not hear any sounds from neighbors.
They allow you to add a voucher for a special dinner at the restaurant to be added to the room service (nice for business travelers). They have a wonderful cat around the lobby that loves pets (highlight of the stay!).

EstoniaWhen arrived, we got a room - deluxe double bed, but it does inside weird smell and some issues either that probably solved quickly, but we required change the room. Its bit weird, but second room was equipped with all that on the description of room on website. When the first room that should have same facilities on the room, havent even half of it. Also, when booked, I mark the arrive time after 22.00 PM ( I arrive 22.20, because I did make precise travel schedule) and SPA facility was already closed (open until 22.00), but hotel have still charged money for unlimited SPA use. They should to know, as its impossible to use. Its probably not to big money, but leave a bitter feeling.
Leaving a troubles a side, then the hotel is actually nice, modern and comfortobal in well location. Breakfast was with pretty good choice (I travel a lot and my requirements is bit higher then by some rare traveller). Parking is near and access between two houses is by underground tunnel, so weather does not disturb. About SPA i dont know nothing - as arrive late, everything was already close and leaved before (11.00 AM, but opened 13.00 PM) then havent opportunity to use even paid for unlimited access. Shame, but its my fault either as didnt check opening times. Parking fee near of the hotel is 25 PLN, but bit on side, near by bowling building is a free parking with camera surveilance.

Switzerland* The sink-water tap combination in the bathroom was a bit of a disaster - using it normally caused a lot of water to bounce around to the floor and onto everything else. * Lack of bedside table for one person (there was only one, on one side of the double bed)
* Great breakfasts * Nice location, close to a city park and quite close to more "foresty" kind of park on a hill (Bażantarnia). Lots of places for morning jog. Good as a base for sightseeing the region, assuming you have a car. * AC that heated the room properly (it was ~-3 outside during our stay) * Shower that seals properly and doesn't leave water all over the floor. * Kettle for boiling water was not in the room initially but we got one after asking. * The pool, although small, was a nice addition

LatviaIn the first floor of hotel there was wedding that made sleeping in the second floor impossible due to the noise in this case being music and guest made noise. Furthermore when the room was booked there was no disclaimer that there will be wedding at that time and no solutions or comprises were even proposed from the staff.
The pool that was available to guests was nice, and the breakfasts was excellent.

GermanyThe parking which I said was important was not possible because they have too many non guests coming in the afternoon for swimming aerobics, the unlimited update which I paid was so I could have unlimited access to the pool but 2 of the 4 days it was not available because of the swimming aerobics so I couldn’t use it. The Breakfast was ok first day but after that it went down hill the second day the waitress tried to give me the dried scrambled egg remains from round the bowl. I told her it was uneatable she looked at me strange and asked what was wrong with it. Third day scrambled egg and bacon looked better but she forgot to put the heater under it on. I told her and she took it away so I was happy and thought I was getting some fresh but no it was put in the microwave and everything was like rubber so no breakfast again. Last day was as bad as the second day so 3 out of 4 days no breakfast. When I come to pay they wanted the parking fee for the 3 days I had to park on the street. I don’t think I will be staying here again !!!
The food in the evening was good!!!
