How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I missed a pair of one-use slippers and a hotel sewing kit. I always find sewing kits and never use them, but it was the first time I needed one for a ripped button, and had to walk half an hour to buy one.
Really clean. Excellent location for my business purposes. Coffee machine with capsules and a tea collection available was a nice surprise. Effective communication with the manager Aleksandra.

We would have rather stayed nearer to the old part of town. Not much to do around, though there was a little market and some restaurants in the building.
The apartment was fabulous! Clean, spacious, modern. Having the little kitchen was a plus. We felt safe in a busy neighborhood.

Nothing I don’t like.
Property location is good, short walk to metro station. Checking process is smooth, I received the instructions in advance. Also detailed steps how to enter the garage.

-No balcony as portrayed in the picture which is obviously generic to the apartment block and not what you may get. -The bathroom/ensuite doors being mirrored glass were fine with the lights off but very revealing if you showered/toilet with the lights on. we had to be very clear with each other that we were going to the bathroom lol. But my daughter in the same block had normal doors so guess its just luck of the draw which apartment you get. No problem for us, we just laughed about it but may be for some!!
Location was great, quite a walk to old town but we like walking! We stayed here because my daughter is renting here. Overall we were really pleased with the apartment. It was very clean, comfortable, plenty of room for 6 adults. One of the cleanest and most comfortable apartments I've stayed in. I was really pleased with the management and communication. Downstairs there is a supermarket and restaurants, but also lots of others available in the vicinity. Good transport links nearby if you don't fancy walking. Fantastic base when visiting Warsaw ( which we have fallen in love with!)

- Shower is extremely weird (the shower hose is too short, and when you mount the shower head to the wall, it becomes stretched across the bathtub like a bowstring from one wall to another) - No furniture in the bedrooms. It would be nice to have at least a chair to throw your clothes and other stuff on.

This is second time my famillyhas used the services of Platinum Tower J&K in the past six month. Cleanliness and comfort are what immediately distinguishes this plase. Great team,ready to helpwith any issue (especially big thanks to manager M. Pawel for this help,uderstanding and willingnessto help at any time). On top of all this is the great location. Excellent sound isolation,very comfortable bed. We happily recommend this place! Thank you very much!:)

There was no salt and sugar in the apartment, which makes it very inconvenient for two day stay if you want to make breakfast.

Probably other guests or - who knows? - a maintenence man - were annoingly noisy early in the morning (used a hammer?!) and late in the evening whene some thuds were heard. But obviously I can not blame the hotel personnel for this.
It exceeded my expectations. Located close to "The Spire" building, in the centre. The keys were left at the reception - due to a prior communication over the phone. All clean and cosy. warmth and hot water, great wifi, generous space.
