The hotel seems a bit unventilated, the carpets don't just need the usual vacuuming, but also washing after all these years. Breakfasts must last at least until 10:00, otherwise it's nonsense and stupidity! Using only the cheapest foods for breakfast may not please you, but it basically corresponds to the price of the accommodation. There's not always anybody speaking english or german.

A nice historical building, in which time seems to have stopped somewhere between the 20s and the 80s. Good place for those traveling by car. The hotel is definitely crying out for some modernization, but it will rob it of some of its charm.

Looks like so old, that you can looking for Mr. Chopin in the rooms... I paid throught booking online, but they dont accepted and we must pay in cash again.

During the late check-in a person at the reception claimed he doesn’t have a computer working so he can not see if we payed. We should have provided the proof of payment and booking confirmation, but it took him long to understand. It created stress as he was constantly suggesting to pay again. The room was small and it smelled very bad. There were many empty cans of beer and at least three packs of cigarettes with the smoked sticks inside of the bedside table drawer. The breakfast ends at 8:30 - so we get enough rest after our late check-in.

Hotel is very cheap for Europe standard, but the quality is allineed to the cost.

This is a very old build, renovation... not in alla the room and not really intensive, concerning the service was OK: also when in Poland have a diner after 20:00 is impossilbe, people prepared for us something to eat at 9:00. From.my point of view the Hotel is overpriced, necarmssary basics are not available or rotten! - It seems the last renovation was 20 years or so again and nothing done since that time! - The staff available spoke no foreign language. Communication was difficult. Basically I booked a double room. My friend could not, was sick. I had to pay the full.amount including 2 breakfast for 2 persons! - Most carpets were with old dirt deep in the structure. The window of the room was without option of curtains or shutters. When we sun rose up at 5:00 in the morning the whole room was aligthend! The TV in the room was broken. The hotel is located near to a passing main street (outside the city) with a lot of trucks as well. As the windowa had no sufficient noise protection you get all the noise of the street from.approx. 5:00 in the morning until midnight.

no curtains so lots of light. had a bad night sleeping. am on humanity support with Ukraine refugees. room was with street light outside. they could not solve this when I asked. no other rooms available they said. the shower was smelly and just awful dirty!!!

Fantastic hotel, we had a great time. Really friendly welcome and such a beautiful place. Unique experience. We arrived at night to see the hotels huge sign lit up in red across a snowy backdrop with bitter winds. Parts of the hotel reminded us of "the shining" with long corridors and genuinely antique furniture, in a really fun and adventurous way. The furniture all over the hotel was fabulous, especially in our room and the lobby. Delicious Kielbasa for breakfast, super quiet and calm, and close to the boarder so was perfect for a stop over before travelling on.

Thanks a lot for the hospitality and help which a person from reception gave us! We stayed there on July,31st and had several various demands, and all of them were resolved perfectly and super fast (even though we asked about some specific things :) Great place when you travel between Germany and Poland, you will not regret picking it
