How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. I slept like a baby -- the pillows and bed were so comfortable, the balcony facing the courtyard was lovely, the bathroom was so spacious. Overall I will definitely come back. The location close to Kazimierz just behind PlayRoom and 10-mins walk to old town square was so good. I absolutely loved my stay here!

Great apartment in a great location. The apartment is on the 3rd floor so had a few steps to climb but that wasnt an issue. The apartment is in an old building so the floor was creaking so had to walk extra carefully not to make noise when our daughter was sleeping. Overall great size and quite clean. Would probably book this apt. again!

For me too much narrow entrance for car, but it was visible on the instructions :)
Perfect place for staying. It's near the Old Town, Wawel. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. There were a kettle, cups, tea, coffee and a bottle of water in the room. The bathroom was surprisingly large. Comunication was very fast, the owner had quick respond.

Thought we had booked an apartment and we had a room which was fine but a little different to what we thought we booked. Some information in the room to advise who to contact in an emergency, some information on area in the room would be helpful. Could also do with housekeeping checking the room and replacing towels replenishing toilet rolls etc once there more 2 days. Otherwise for a 1 or 2 night stay it would be great.
The location and safety was great I would be happy to stay here solo. The room was very modern and clean on arrival and a nice large bathroom. We didn't see any staff at all during our 3 night 4 day stay. The local area was a little run down looking in parts but great restaurants and bars in the area. Tip for anyone booking this apartment for a longer stay there is a laundrette about 3 or 4 doors up so you could travel a little lighter.

Everything was perfect. The room was ready even a little earlier than expected. The host sent all the info on how to access the place with the step by step photo, so it was easy. Everything was as in the photos. Besides, I think I should mention that despite the fact that the place is situated in the city center in quite a noisy street, it is quiet. And all the places of interest are very close.

Actually everything was fine. Restroom maybe was a bit tired.
Convenient location with tons of landmarks and cafes around. Close to all types of transport, easy to navigate to Aushwitz and Salt mines. Good and comfortable room with nice balcony.

The accommodation was beautiful, clean and well decorated. I liked how spacious the flats were. We were a group of 9 and rented 2 flats just next to each others. The check in and out was easy. The accommodation is well located next to the tram and reasonable waking distance to old town and main museums. Also there are lots of amenities around the flat (groceries, breakfast places, food market, restaurants, etc.) The owner was super responsive to our needs which is a big plus. The building and surroundings felt safe. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and book again when coming to Krakow!

I liked everything.
Everything! The room is modern and has everything you need. The bed is soooooooo comfortable, and the pillows. I had a great sleep. The location is perfect, a 10min walk from the center.

I arrived at night and when I got there had no instructions on how to enter the property/room. It would have been better for the instructions to be sent to me on the day of my arrival so that I understood how to gain access. I messaged the property half way through my stay to ask if there was an iron and how to check out and was replied to after I checked out, this would have been handy to know in advance of staying. I also had 3 conflicting check out times, 1 on the booking.com page, another on the photo that was sent to me in a text message and then another provided in a text by the person I was speaking with.
Location was excellent. Very clean, comfy bed and safe for a solo female traveller.

The apartment was in a very convenient location, near public transport but also in the center so you could walk everywhere, between the city centre and the Jewish neighbourhood. Also the owner was very helpful and responded in just minutes.
