Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Mexicothe room locks are old, I don't know if they change the sheets on the beds, I spent a couple of unpleasant nights, because other tenants were making a lot of noise at 4am and they tried to open my room. I found dirty cutlery, the bathroom towels are old and smells funny

BelarusThe description of the room didnt match real condition, the following should be mentioned: -Bathroom and kitchen facilities are shared -The balcony I could see on the photos of the room was not accessible - the access was from the next room The contact number didnt respond for while.

United KingdomI’m really sorry to say but it was quite dirty. Had to clean the bath and toilet after I m checked in. Not enough info on the website so I wasn’t aware that I will be renting only one room in the flat and I’ve got the smallest one as well. Also quite difficult to find the actual place.
The apartment is quite close to the underground station. Few shops nearby. Nice balcony. Really warm during the winter time.

PolandIt's a little bit hard to find the proper entrance to the building, but give yourself 5 minutes and you will find it :D It's like an apartament in a block of flats (quite modern one)
Good place for a couple, very close to the subway station and bus stops, its easy and fast to reach Warsaw City centre. Good communication with the room managers, clean, tidy, towels were provided, very modern bathroom, cutlery and dishes in the kitchen, big room with double bed and a sofa, a TV too. I recommend!

LithuaniaWhen we arrived to the destination of apartment we were confused by the lack of details Check-in was 15:30 it was delayed because of "Cleaning". When we finally got the message with details we came up to the apartment and quickly were dissapointed 1. Apartment was dirty 2. The apartment we booked in the photos was the 2 room and we got 1 room ( this was not even in the photos ) 3. Most importantly it was SHARED with other couple, but when they arrived they were quickly dissapointed as well. 4. The "cleaning lady" or "manager" did not care about the situation, when she called she said our room was 1 but that room with seperate beds WASNT EVEN IN THE PHOTOS. It ruined our day and expectations.. Us and other couple made quick decision to leave the premises. Just to add the addicional thing second couple was waiting for 4hours for the "cleaning lady" to clean the appartment that was as you guessed not clean at all.

BelarusIt was the worst stay ever. First of all, when you choose a room for a single stay, nothing is said that you will have to share it with someone. My room had no lock, there was a hole instead. Being woken up at night by a NAKED neighbor who (I hope) had mixed up rooms has nothing to do with quiet and peaceful rest. And the owners did not even apologize. I booked and paid for 4 nights, but had to leave after that incident. So three nights were not used, and i informed the owners at once. No refund. Short impolite reply. Terrible!

SwedenSharing the apartment with other people, every day different one. I got a message for the check-in and they told me my room was the first on the right. When I arrived at 3:00 am (flight was delayed) I accidentally woke up the other guest because my room was the other one. My room didn't have access to the balcony, only the other room. I found a very old ice-cream package under my bed.

UkraineThis is the most horrible place I've ever been. It's just an apartment where you rent a room. Everything is very, very dirty. The linen is so dirty that you can't use it. Floors, walls, dirt. The toilet stinks so much that such an impression is never cleaned there. The staff doesn't even know what cleaning chemicals are. One towel per person is provided. In a quadruple room there are 3 blankets. To use the socket next to the bed you have to move the bed and only then you will have access. The bidet in the toilet didn't work at all. The light in the room is like in the 18th century where there were still candles. The TV is in front of the cabinet, the question is how to watch it? Need to go to the cabinet? The doors only open halfway because the bed is in the way to open fully.
