How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Our room was next to a road square, so quite noisy. Old furniture and not very clean.
Excellent breakfast and kind staff! Close to the city centre! Parking places next ro the hitel easy to find.

On the other hand the hotel, despite its name, was rather far from the city center (20 min walk), the bathroom was quite outdated and the breakfast was not good in my opinion. Room furnishing and equipment was quite basic and limited to the most necessary things. In spite of all I have mentioned, I still believe that it is a good place to stay for short trips.
It was not bad for a short stay. There is a 24/7 reception, free coffee and tea, breakfast included and the price for the stay was good.

Bathroom is very small. Especially the wc is in the shower divided only by a curtain.

It felt quite echoey, maybe carpet or some rugs would help. The breakfast arrangements were really not fit for the number of guests, the selection itself was great but it was set up in a really small space and it was a constant shuffle trying to get to it. Long queue for the one slow coffee machine.

Always a pleasure to stay here. Great connectivity, very clean rooms and the best part is their breakfast spread which is huge and so tasty!

My room was near the stairs, and children were making noise there every morning and I didn't get enough sleep at night

If you arrive by car it might be difficult to find a place to park on the street. But at least it's free.
Good choice of different foods for such a small hotel. Free coffee and tea all the time available. Room was clean and big, but was a little worn here and there. Also a bit strange smell was present, but not too disturbing. All in all excellent for the price. Nice central European style neighborhood.

Rich breakfast, both hot and cold food to choose from. Comfortable bed in the well decorated room. Receptionist very sad, it was really upsetting. When I told her that's not the way to greet the guests she only shook her arms, when I asked about manager also without answer. Please improve this because this hotel is really nice besides that.

- hotel claims free parking. that's simply not true. no way to park in front of the hotel when unloading and free parking is considered all the street parking in the neighborhood. you will spend time driving around looking for it. NOT GOOD! - wifi in my room on the top floor was so weak I couldn't work and have online meetings. had to result to a roaming hotspot on my cell phone. - the breakfast area can get crowded

The beds are horrible, our back pain arises in the morning. The room space is small. No noise reduction.
The main positive points for our family of 3 and a dog: - location - free public parking space around - breakfast (it was even too much salats :D) - elevator availability - cafe/tee for guests near reception - pet allowance (50 PLN per night)

Great hotel for a short stay, rooms big enough and warm. A massive plus for an unlimited tea and coffee 24h by the reception. One slight minus was a closed bar.

Way too small area for breakfasts, that we literally had problem to sit somewhere when it was busy time during breakfasts. We could hear neighbours quite a lot when they were a bit loud.
The location of accomodation was close to sights in city centre. Coffee in the main hall always available for guests :)

Some internal noise from doors etc but nothing to complain about.
Within walking distance of the city centre and also a tram station 100m. Room had no traffic noise. Big selection for breakfast.
