How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very nice place where to stay for short city break. Walkable distance to city centre. Cosy apartment with everything you need! Shops, cafes, restaurants etc near the property. Helpful owner. Would stay again!

Nothing, everything was perfect 👍
Extremely cozy appartment beautifully done inside. Has everything you would need for a stay in Warsaw. You would not get a suite at a hotel this good and we have stayed in many. Very central with a lot of restaurants just downstairs and it has a balcony plus Aircon for those hot summers.

The toilet lid was very squeaky. The shower pressure is very weak and hard to wash, I would change the shower head at least

The flat was perfect - there was everything you need, from kitchen cutlery, up to air conditioning, and the flat is so tastefully decorated that it makes your heart sing! Also, the host is simply wonderful!

Apartment is lovely decorated with lots of personal touches. It is very well equipped, it has everything we needed for 4 days stay. Location is fantastic, very close to buses, trams and metro. Warsaw Uprising Museum is literally around the corner. There are shops and restaurants on the ground floor, area is very quiet. Lidl, Rossmann and pharmacies are also nearby. Bed were super comfy, apartment is good size for a couple or family with small children. Very good communication with the host, lovely people, helpful and caring.

The place is very nice and had a lot of details; it is located in a modern building near museums, the modern area of the city, and only few km away from the old city center. The host was very nice and was easy to contact him.

The apartment was great! Everything was well designed and efficient. The host met us upon arrival, gave us the keys and explained everything. We had a wonderful time. The underground parking was very handy! Great location as well of the apartment. Supermarket across the street, several restaurants downstairs and very close to the center using taxi services or car.

A bit small for 4 adults, however, did not bother us at all.
The owner was amazing, attended all of out needs both in the check in and check out. Also, he was very polite and pleasant, the parking space was also great.

Cozy apartment, quiet area, good location (shops, cafes, tram). The hospitable and kind host Dariusz, who even speaks Russian, waited for us and answered our questions about where to go, what to see, taste, and visit. 30 minutes to the center walking distance. It was a wonderful Christmas🎄

The apartment was clean and very well-kept. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location is close to the city center and at the same time in a quiet and safe residential area. It was very easy to communicate with the owners who came to meet us on the check-in and check-out day. We used the car park in the building. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we highly recommend staying at the apartment.

Everything seemed new and very clean. The apartment was beautiful, cozy and, despite the fact that it was small, every inch of its space was smartly used. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. We also had a very nice view from the balcony.

All was good. Owner Dariusz was always available, good communication with him during check in and check out. Underground parking makes life easier as well, as you dont have to look where to park in the evening. In general all good.
