How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Would have loved a shower as well as a bath. Everything else was faultless and I stay in hotels weekly.
The decor was amazing. Quiet as a whisper. Very comfortable bed. Check in was smooth and welcoming (Prosecco!). I got a sheet of restaurants from the young man. View was exceptional.

Beautiful blend of modern design in a historic building. The furniture and fixtures were modern while preserving brick and timber inside the rooms. The breakfast was delicious. I really liked the combination of fresh hot food made to order along with the cold buffet. I was impressed by the tea selection! I was traveling for leisure but had a little work to do each day. The desk in the room was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for me- near the tram line and convenient for exploring the old town.

Hotel Teatr is amazing! The rooms are lovely, the location is fabulous for walking to all of the main attractions, and the staff is very helpful.

I liked everything about the property, there was nothing to dislike. The location was brilliant, staff and decor very lovely. Had the breakfast and it was brilliant, best omelettes and very good choice on offer.

Just returned from 4 nights in this wonderful hotel. Perfectly located, only being a 5 minute walk from the train/bus station - A 2 minute walk to the Main Square & 15 minutes from the Kazimierz District. The hotel is immaculate and beautiful. The rooms are big with super comfy beds and a great Breakfast to start the day. Most importantly the Staff are Amazing!

Absolutely nothing!
The hotel is just 300 meters from the main square and all the bars and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, a lot of thought has gone into the breakfast, both in service and selection. The staff could not do enough for us. We were given a welcome Prosecco, and as we needed to check out at 02:45 therefor missing our last breakfast, we were offered a packed breakfast. Nothing too much trouble, hence we are planning our return.

A small, quiet, individual, conveniently located hotel within Stare Miasto (the old town) not far from the Rynek (main square). The room we stayed in was on the ground floor close to reception but still quiet and comfortable despite the snow and low outside temperatures! The hotel features a wealth of exposed brickwork with imaginative design. Breakfast daily was broadly from the same selection but there was a varied and wide choice to suit your taste. The staff were great - very welcoming and accommodating to everything we asked of them. Would unhesitatingly stay here again! 😀

A perfect location in a quiet corner within the old town and only a few minutes walk to the main square and the train station. The hotel is immaculate and very comfortable with a stylish interior. The staff are extremely friendly and obliging especially Natalie on reception. The welcome glass of Prosecco was a nice touch.

Beautiful hotel. Huge rooms, great size. The architecture in the hotel is incredible. Very quiet hotel with fantastic facilities. Hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The style of the rooms fully renovated with interesting innovative architectural design in a historical ambient. Very comfortable and easy to access with the elevator. Great personnel at the reception and very good breakfast

Excellent location inside the old town. We walked to everywhere. Tastefully renovated new, clean, spacious rooms. Rooms were better than it looked in the pictures. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. The fact that the hotel had private parkings very close to the property was a huge plus for us also (additional charge).

There is nothing
Wonderful Hotel in an ancient Building. Inside minimalistic style with materials of high quality. Big room, big bathroom. All very clean and comforable. Natalie at the reception helped us with everything we asked. Breakfast was of great variety and perfect. The Hotel lies inside the old town in only 10 min distance to the main station and 10 min to the Main Market. Absolutely recommendable!

The breakfast selection is a bit limited. The staff do cook pancakes & omelettes which are really nice. The sauna needs to be turned on 2 hours in advance in order to use it, which unfortunately we weren't informed until trying to book it.
The hotel was very well located, only a walk away from everything. The hotel is very modern and facilities were very good. Staff were also very polite and obliging.

The hotel bar was not cozy
Very good location in the old town, near the train station. The breakfast was very good, own chef who prepares omelette, scrambled eggs and pancakes.
