How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

i met super kind, open und flexibel hosts. this is a very cosy and lovely room with soul and everything is needed for a short trip. the matress is veeery soft and you should love to sleep very soft...i am not used to it, but for that short stay was ok and a good thaimassage after harmonize everything. very clean and very good price. highly recomented

The sinc was quite small but I was not there to do dishes.
The hostess was exceptional. She helped with all the things I asked of her and right awaw. She went the extra mile when I could not find the location. Very respectful and kind person. Patricia

The directions to find the apartment could be improved. It wasn't helped by the apartment block undergoing a full external renovation during my visit which rendered all pictures useless. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.
This is a nice, compact studio room located on the third (top) floor of an apartment block. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was good. Water pressure and temperature was also good and the washing machine handy. The location was fine - it was a short tram ride into the old town or a good 15 minute walk. Overall, it was a good stay and the plate of "naleśnik jabłkowy" which the owner left for my arrival was extremely thoughtful and greatly appreciated.

The place is perfect for its money. Cosy, nice, and clean. I liked the small details in the interior. The location is perfect: not far from the old city, there are several shops and cafes just near the building. Bus and tram stop just in front of the building. The hostess was very friendly and responsive. Self-check-in was very comfortable.

A complete disappointment. I regret not carefully choosing this apartment. I don't understand why it has such a high rating. For the price, you can find much better options, which are bigger and offer free parking. 1. There is no free parking near the house. The car was parked behind the house in a paid parking lot. 2. We arrived late in the evening, and finding the apartment was difficult. The yard felt unsafe with many drunk groups and alcoholics sitting right at the entrance. There was fresh blood on the ground, which added to our discomfort. 3. The house seemed more like a hostel, with people passing by the window of our room. It made us feel uneasy and scared to open the windows. 4. The apartment is extremely small, like a box, and the walls are paper-thin. We could hear our neighbor just walking behind the wall. 5. There were two of us, but we only found one small towel each, which was only suitable for the face. It was inconvenient for showering, and we had nothing to put on the ground for our feet. 6. It was not possible to wash comfortably as the sink was too small, making it impossible to bend over. Consequently, all the water flowed onto the floor. 7. Overall, the entire apartment is very, very small and lacks coziness, making our stay quite unpleasant.

The owner lives in the same apartment. It's nowhere written in the description. She basically shares a room in her flat. The room is nice and all, but it feels like a scam because you can't even talk in peace, no privacy. You feel weird even when you go to the toilet at night.
The apartment was clean.
