Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe breakfast area is not really clean, tables are full of bread crumbs. I have been charged twice for my stay, 1x via Booking.com automatically and one more time when I left. Still no refund in sight. Parking costs extra.

GermanyThere were too many people in the morning for breakfast and the food just ran out and new wasnt brought in. And we were not there particulary late. Also the pool and sauna area were very cold and didnt look very welcoming. Would use renovation
The hotel was close to the sea side. The Room was just beautiful! So big and clean and bright. The breakfast was very tasty. The hotel Has its own bar and restaurant and offers great ways how to spend your evening. You could play billiard, darts, table tennis and evening bowling. But the hotel was full with people and there was a queue

SpainThis hotel is past its best. Costs are being cut and it shows (the toilet seat it too small for the bowl and is a problem), the carpets are badly stained and the food in the restaurant is more suited to a canteen than a hotel.
The hotel is well located to visit the town.

Germany- The staff was very unfriendly with a few exceptions (1). In a scale from 0 to 10 their service is definitely 0 customer oriented. One receptionist even ignored us when we were waiting in the front of his face at the reception for him to answer some questions that we had about the hotel and walked away. - We weren’t informed about the price of the parking even though we asked how much it was while checking in. The answer of the receptionist was “that’s okay, here you have the parking card”… When we checked out we were first informed about the price. - Even though we had the “don’t disturb” card hanging on the door, the housekeeping staff knocked the door and opened the door without even getting an answer from our side. We even locked the door from the inside and they tried to enter. And this every single day! - The receptionist at the check out didn’t ask how our stay was, she wanted to go straight to the payment, even though we were checking out at 11:00 (check out is at 12:00). When we told the receptionist about the things that annoyed us during our stay at the check out, she didn’t even care! Like said, the staff doesn’t care about the customer satisfaction. As a former Receptionist from several hotels, I can understand that you can have a bad day, but that doesn’t mean that you have to speak to your guests like they would annoy you, even ignoring them and not caring about their customer needs. I hope you improve your customer orientation.
It has a pool, you can bring your pet and you can park your car.
