Nothing Note; there are many tourists in town, probably because the famous series of "Ojciec Mateusz" is filmed here.

Every thing was wonderful. Good location for visiting the historic town of Sandomierz and going to church. Polish wine is served in the restaurant and is exceptionally excellent, probably few people know much about Polish wines.

no gym, there was some air conditioning unit under the window, therefore sleep was only possible with closed window.

Breakfast could be extended to 11am everyday not just weekends.

Brilliant location only a 5 minute walk to the old square. Staff were on top of everything, very informative and friendly. Restaurant was lovely and the breakfast was good. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Tea and coffee at the end of the corridor aswell. The hotel is decorated in a rustical style and fits the building beautifully. The sun terrace was a perfect location to sit and relax with the family. Would highly recommend.

Location,with parking. Rooms,jacuzzi and sauna. Great restaurant on the spot. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly helpful staff. I can't think of any other place to stay in Sandomierz next time we will be there

The reception Manager Katarzyna was lovely. She was helpful, spoke great English, so I couldn't ask for more in terms of service. Breakfast was excellent too, wonderful selection

There's a coffee corner in each floor, but it needs some good facilities (a French press or coffee machine) to be able to prepare good coffee. I was experienced enough to take my French press with me :)

The rooms are nice and quiet, perhaps a bit dark but it keeps them cool during the summer. The regular rooms might be a bit tight for two, but perfect for one person to spread out. Perfect location practically at the foot of the Brama Opatowska. The only downside for me was the free breakfast: the tables are set very close together, the mask and glove requirements aren’t enforced — people were even picking up bread with bare hands rather than tongs. This says more about the guests than the staff but there are ways of discreetly enforcing hygiene requirements, regardless the epidemic. Other than that, the place was spotless & staff super helpful. Overall, a great stay. Would come again.

Couldn't open the safe as last person vacating the room closed it :-( not really a hotel's fault.

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous breakfast and diner menu ( for me anyway I'm Polish - for British some would say baked beans or fried bacon was missing at breakfast but so so so many choices, inc cereals, fruits, cakes, salads, vegetables, hams and cheeses, scrambled eggs, pancakes, frankfurters, breads, etc etc :-) ). My apartment was airconditioned, spacious and comfortable. Really enjoyed the place. And 5 min walk to center full of bars, restaurants and local attractions.

The hotel feels very comfortable, has a lovely breakfast/restaurant area outside and a great tea/coffee corner per each floor.

Don't expect anything more than a 3 star hotel standard. That you get for a very high price. Our apartment was dirty and dusty. Smelt stale. Our whole family couldn't sleep comfortably. Which led us to shorten our stay. Originally we were supposed to stay two nights. But decided to leave after one night.

My room wasn’t clean on the 1st day. When I questioned it- I was told it was because of covid , and it has to be requested. Nobody told me this. No shampoo or shower gel. I had to find a shop late at night to buy basic products. Also arrived late on the second day- room not cleaned and no water to drink.

At the very entrance the air was stiff and the scent unpleasant. By check in it would be nice to see a smile at the receptionist’s face. Basically out of all staff I think only few people were happy. The room was small and dark. The coin that was lying at the bottom of the toilet when we entered the bathroom was still lying there after the room was cleaned. Breakfast buffet was nothing special.

The property itself has a great potential, which unfortunately is not used. The close proximity to the old town makes the hotel attractive.

Normally, when you combine hotel and wedding/party venue you should foresee soundproof facilities. Or you ensure that hotel guest who are not there to party get rooms in quiet area. Not at Sarmata thus. Unfortunatelly, despite the promise that the noise would stop at 22hrs it continued till very late so we could not sleep till very late :(. Eating quick lunch in hotel restaurant was impossible due to the wedding the following noon.

Rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. Excellent location. Very friendly staff at the reception who made up for the poor organization and restless night.
