Was very disappointed that pool was closed. Booked this hotel because it had a pool. Parking is challenging, no handicapped or accessible parking - it was inconvenient to be able to unload bags and check in. Not easily identified where to enter the hotel to check in. We were finally able to get a close parking spot after a couple of hours. Rooms were not ready until 4 PM which was what was guaranteed but had hoped for slightly earlier check-in .

Staff was very helpful during a medical emergency. Location was convenient, easy walk to the beach and relatively close to restaurants, Condado etc.

The phone did not work and there was no food available but I know that.

I thought parking was on the premises, but found out when we arrived that parking was on the street, so that was a little disappointing. I was also disappointed in the fact that I emailed to ask if we could get an early check in and the only response that I received was that I could ask when I arrived?! Lastly, there was no towels in our rooms when we arrived and the bathroom door could use some updating as it was practically see-through and offered very little privacy.

We were in close proximity to the beach, just a three minute walk! We also loved the proximity of a nice little breakfast place across the street. Check in is very easy and the staff was very courteous and answered all her questions. We loved Bar area and the tables and chairs they were available outside our room on the patios! There are public scooters very near to the hotel which we used for transportation! It worked out great.

The kitchenette and bathroom was a little shabby. Think homestay rather than luxe boutique.

Charming building, comfortable bed. We liked the shady garden pool area and terrace. Great location, a minute walk from the beach and restaurants.

The staff attitude is very poor, you are just a passing-by customer not expected to return so they really don't care. I had no issue with them, but simply by the way they greet you, ( if they do) tell you where is the ice, or answer any neighborhood or nearby locations or general questions, you see no motivation or interest to help.

It’s an old building but cozy an well kept. The feel is that of a house. The architecture is beautiful. Walking distance from restaurants and 7-11-likeish places.

The building is like some huge old mansion estate, fun to explore. We had a neat private room with large balcony. Shower was hot, AC was cold, bed was comfy. Multiple entrances to facility and restaurants and cafes all around. Will be back! Staff were friendly and helpful, even the guy cleaning the patios in the morning!

Since Covid-19, I'm sure is what caused the workers to not clean our room daily. There also must have been a shortage of workers as well. If you're used to creature comforts choose another place.

The hotel was in the perfect spot. We were grateful for this quaint place to stay. We only chose this since our son and his college classmates were staying here. You get what you pay for. I'm sure the pandemic had a lot to do with the type of services that were or weren't available to us during our stay.

When we arrived the hotel had mistakenly cancelled our reservation and we had to spend one night in a smelly room behind the closed bar with colored lights that blinked all night. We had to check out at 11 am and the recheck in at 4pm for our original room. No one apologized.

The property is closed to everything, which makes it an easy overnight stay; somewhat like a places to crash if you’re staying far awy from the metro area.

Absolutely loved the simple boutique vibe. I appreciate the traditional island architecture. Some reviews showed pictures of dirty bathroom surfaces but really it's not. The bathroom floors as much of the property is solid concrete and brick which holds dust but live a little people. This is not a 5 star facility. The beds.. AMAZING. Location is great. There was woman who greeted us at 4pm Saturday who was amazing. Great customer service. We had the double double room ( 2 beds).

The place has great potential. There are some very easy things they can do to make the rooms a bit more visibly cleaner. The sheets had hair on them, the curtains and towels were stained. The was a guy at the front desk Friday at 2pm. He was not welcoming and actually seemed bothered. Eventually, he loosened up just a bit. Check in is at 4 and they do not entertain an earlier check in even if the room is ready. At least for me they did not.

People were not immediately at the door for che k in, or I possibly did not press the door buzzer sufficiently hard. My only complaint about the facilities is the lack of microwave and fridge available for guests. Guests like to buy food for storage, rendering its omission from the otherwise charmingly quaint interior design and architecture a curious anomaly. Unseratable is the desire tompreserve the furniture and interior aesthetic without a jarring machine. But not having one at all to share, at least, infers management preference to cut expenses.
