The guy at the front desk when I arrived was not very helpful and assumed I already knew everything about the hostel as he made it seem like I was asking ridiculous questions just to clarify where I should go to find my room or where the breakfast would be in the morning. Another annoyance were the other people in the room, which I know is not the fault of the hostel and this is what you get when sharing rooms. However, maybe some more clear rules on keeping lights out after certain times as people were coming into the room all through the night and turning on and then leaving the main room lights on for hours at a time. Using a flashlight is to be expected and is what I have experienced people to do at all the other hostels I have stayed at. But I found these guests quite inconsiderate and it seemed like they were not accustomed to hostel etiquette.

Great location, safe to walk around after dark to the nearby restaurants. The room felt secure with individual codes for each one. The beds were comfortable and had good privacy being pods. Airconditioning worked well, but was not too cold which I was concerned about having read previous reviews and being someone who gets cold easily.

The breakfast is really very basic, for me who don't eat breakfast it's ok, another thing I didn't like was that one of the attendants who checked me in wasn't very patient with my language difficulties, and whenever I saw I was in a bad mood...

The location is incredible, the hostel is clean and big, I loved the beds, I felt good in them, the rooms are also big and that's great, leisure area and pool, I recommend it and I want to stay again. Most of the staff working there are great and friendly.

The kitchen could need some more of everything really (cutlery, plates, pots, bowls). The breakfast was really basic but at least there is breakfast and I easily pimped it when I bought my own cheese.

The beds are Pods and therefore somewhat private, the AC works and there is a comfy lounge area. The staff was also very nice.

I really frustrated about the shower time, because I turn on the water and don't start to make hot water, just cold, and I can't take my shower.

To start , there were a lot of things broken. Pool table, stovetop, the lock on my 10 bed mixed dorm. The gatherings that they advertise don't happen at all, it's all up to the guests to organize any sort of meet up.

As this is a hostel, more tourist information might be useful and it could add some internal activities for a more pleasant stay of solo travelers. . The front desk staff isn't very helpful, they don't care about the people, and the receptionists are immersed in their laptops. The bathroom of my bedroom has a problem It flooded when someone bathed, the hostel must find a solution. Breakfast was every day the same coffee, a fruit and bread. More variety and quantity required

The property is starting as a hostel because it is a hotel. I really like the bed and pillow, it was very comfortable. The Internet connection works in all the hostel. The property has a pool very nice to enjoy the free time. Check in and check out was very easy and they accept to keep my bags previous and after my stay, it was very useful!! The location is perfect, near old San Juan, near some beaches, near a very known place for nightlife and near the airport. The bedroom is cleaned everyday, this is so good!

First at all, the shower in the room doesn’t have door or privacy. Also the water runs on the side of the bath and at least two nights, I found water on the floor after everyone shower. So dangerous if someone felt, no sign, no one available to resolve the issue. Second, on Sunday when the cleaning person was doing their duties, there was at least two kids around, crying, running, yelling and fighting. Guess the mother/lady wasn’t having enough in some point that curses and bad words were all over the room (in Spanish). Third, there is a bathroom in the hall available but unfortunately the lights didn’t work (the lamp has 3 lights and no one was working, crazy, I report the issue on Friday, no one came to fixed. When I talked to the lady on the front on Saturday she told me the handyman wasn’t available until Monday (again safety, if someone felt on the darkness there is an issue). The room was cold day and night, no issues with the heat outside. Sadly, the bathroom has just one sink, and one mirror, and is a mix room, so you need to wait for Al least 30 minutes to used, I don’t know why women spend a lots of time looking at the mirror or playing with their hair and makeup.

After arriving at the Hostel at 3:30am, I was assigned to a room/bed, and given a towel. I successfully entered my room, but I found that there was someone sleeping in my assigned bed. This wouldn't have been a problem had it been light, but I was rummaging around in the dark, peaking my head into what I was told should be my sleeping accommodations, and finding another body laying there.... It made me feel very uncomfortable. The front desk clerk helped me to find a bed that was not in use, but the discomfort of my experience did not get any better. The bathroom floor had puddles of water on it, there was no private door to the shower, there was a man sleeping on the couch in the common area rather than his bed, the refrigerator water filter had not been changed... the list goes on, and I felt extremely uncomfortable continuing my stay at this hostel.

Breakfast wasn’t really a breakfast-bread to toast (butter usually gone by 9am, some jam, a few pieces of fruit that’s it).

One of the better hostels I’ve had: capsule style beds, shower separate from bathroom (& sink) & another bathroom w/shower down the hall, large area with cubbies assigned to beds where you can hang a few clothing items (rare w hostels), pool was cute with floaties, can purchase small beers/waters, bed was comfy for a hostel.
