We definitely enjoyed our stay! Especially the connection to the nature - chilling at the terrace in the presence of small green lizards, falling asleep with sounds of coquís (in the first night we thought it was a parrot!), cozy common areas with all the flowers- La Botanica is anything but an ordinary, dull and monotone hotel, it is a real hidden gem. We loved the outdoor shower, coffee and water in the lobby, friendly stuff and primarily the LOCATION! It’s just 150 meters to the beach, 10 minutes to the airport by taking UBER and it’s a real pleasure to go for a morning run just by leaving the house and run! No obstacles, no crossing any traffic, just join another runners on the street.

The mattress wasn’t good. But it’s the only thing I can complain about my stay. Breakfast is prepared for vegan people but it’s ok for one day, once I am not vegan.

The facility is very beautiful and pleasant. We feel like in home, with plants and fountains all around. It’s an accommodation very ecological in the city.

There was street parking only but we always found a place nearby. No prob.

I booked this vacation to get work done but the WiFi did not reach my room. That was the only frustrating part of the stay.

Nothing (my only small critique was that my mattress was hard on my shoulders and not as comfortable as I would have wanted but that’s ok, probably just me).

It’s a small but lovely property. Designed so well and put together nicely so that everyone has space. I love all the trees and little ponds, the accents and zen feeling you get when you’re there. There is coffee, tea, filtered water provided all day. The warm Ayurvedic breakfast and yoga included was so nice to have! Keyless entry makes it easy and the staff is wonderful! One block over from the beach makes it easy to get to and beach towels given. A beach chair would be nice. One little thing is that yoga is held out front on the property and since it’s on a main road, it’s kinda noisy but the instructor worked over the noise well. The boutique is lovely and hard not to buy all the local products. The wifi never worked for me upstairs in Sylvia’s room, but it was ok since my cell service worked. I would’ve like to stay in one of the other rooms with outdoor showers and hammocks, maybe next time. AC worked well too. It was also 15 min to airport, 20 min to old San Juan (super easy with Uber) and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby that you can walk to. Some veg ones nearby as well. This is a really wonderful space and I’m glad I found it. You will enjoy your stay here, don’t think twice.

While it is a little oasis, it’s located on a main road which can get some loud cars driving by in the middle of the night. But nothing that’s a deal breaker!

Beautiful, calming space with all of the amenities you could need and some very thoughtful touches. Really loved the included breakfast, teas and yoga. Would love to stay again!

Of course there was construction noise right next door, which interrupted the peacefulness of the space. Also, the views from our room weren’t that great.

Even though we were in a busy area, the hotel felt like an oasis and a true escape. The foliage, fresh floral arrangements, water features, common areas and rooms were truly thoughtful in design. I loved the personalization and the attentiveness of the staff. We enjoyed our savory vegan breakfast that was freshly prepared by the chef on site. Also, the fact that you can drop in for a yoga class in the mornings was great!
