The location was perfect! Right at the beach, where you could just walk for miles and miles with not another soul around 🥹 super beautiful. The room (and all the amenities) was extremely clean, also staff was top. Luquillo was meant to be a quick stopover and to be honest we didn’t really expect that much - but considering the beautiful ocean and great hostel, it exceeded our expectations and I would have loved to have stayed more than just one night :)

Nothing I didn't like about the Hostel. You should know that the location is very quiet, there is not much around there and the beach right in front of Casa Coral is not for swimmig. The next supermarket is also not really close, so maybe bring your groceries or find someone to drive you ;)

The Location is beautiful, right next to a river and on the beach. I loved the open kitchen space and the view. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Would definitely come back, ideal for some quiet, calm days <3 I didn't have a car and came with uber from San Juan, that worked perfectly. I also used Uber for a trip to the bioluminescence kayaking, worked just fine. One of the owners was so kind to drive me to the supermarket in the beginning of my stay.

Everything. Great vibes for surfers, hikers, yoga lovers. Staff was exceptional, location was great and I spoke with multiple guests that agreed it's probably the nicest hostel we've stayed in, ever!!

We stayed in one of the 1-2 private rooms in a hostel. Unassuming from the outside but quite nice inside. Situated on a lovely beach. Large kitchen/common area. Clean, quiet, amenities well organized. Staff friendly. Multiple restaurants within walking distance.

Nothing I didn’t like about the hostel. A car is definitely not needed to enjoy this place but could be convenient if you’re planning on visiting the island.

This place is a gem. If you’re unsure about booking, let this be your sign to go for it. The hostel is extremely clean and very well maintained. The bathrooms are convenient and always clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need to cook. The dorms beds are comfy, clean and provide full privacy. The private rooms look even better! There is sunscreen, aloe vera, bug spray, shower and beach towels, yoga mats and much more available for guests at the hostel which is very rare and so convenient. There are also paddle boards and kayak you can rent to go up the river. If all of this hasn’t convinced you yet, the staff will. They are so welcoming, kind and helpful. They really make the place feel like home away from home. Huge thank you to Tyrone, Fabiola, Luz, Laura, Derek and everybody else I’m forgetting.

I've been to many hostels around the world and this place easily makes my top 3. I came to Casa Coral after a bad Airbnb experience and let me tell you, at the time I was ready to leave PR due to the conditions at the Airbnb, but Casa Coral became a little paradise and haven, and now I am certain I will come back to PR time and time again and always stay here! I can't eat most foods so I have to cook all my meals and this kitchen was a dream to cook in as hostels go. We had two very rainy days and I spent them contently sitting in the open air kitchen doing work on my computer all day. It's a short drive to El Yunque, exceptional beaches, Los Playos, bioluminescence, and more. Plus a short walk to loads of restaurants and beaches (and lots of stray kitties to hang with). Thank you Casa Coral for your hospitality!

Not much, I quite liked it.

Surprisingly cute and nice place, it's located right by the ocean on a dead end residential street in a residential neighbourhood (though it's got a few bodegas and local bars nearby). Parking is limited but you'll find a spot somewhere nearby. Washrooms are clean and there was hot water. Not super busy when I went and there was only 1 common area so it was pretty easy to meet people. Note that the common area is outdoors (though covered) so lack of A/C/mosquitoes may be not for everyone. Do check out Casa e'chelo down the street. That bar/convenience store is such a vibe and people are welcoming.

Hard to find

Difícil encontrar dirección. Las calles no tienen nombre afuera. Hard to find address both days of my stay. Streets have no names. Staff should be able to include nearby business name and take pictures of nearby houses to be able to find it following pics , Was very stressful when you arrive & is dark after 6pm
