The shower for me was problematic, it didn’t have a curb, so the water was spreading around the toilet. The last night we couldn’t get hot water.

Great location. The room was decent but ours was was located right by the front desk so I worried with noise of people talking and making noise during the night but it was actually pretty quiet (except for the coqui outside, but that’s not the hotel’s fault). Breakfast was excellent!

The high traffic areas of the room were well cleaned, but it needed to be dusted and the bathroom tiles deep cleaned. It activated my allergies. The wifi didn't work all the time.

Cozy, walkable distance to beaches and restaurants, breakfast included and it was very good. I liked the small pool, it was intimate. Very nice for couples.

The front desk people were not welcoming, especially late at night he would just stare at us when we came in and said nothing. It was a little uncomfortable. The patio was not decorated nicely. It would make a big difference if they added a privacy screen between the patios of the neighboring rooms and added some plants and a little decorating. Also decorate in the main hallway when you walk in would go a long way. There were a bunch of mosquitoes hanging out in front of our door in the hallway. Overall nice place and value but could use some love in these areas.

The room was cute. I liked the art on the walls. The breakfast was good and the lady serving breakfast was friendly. The breakfast area was also nice and peaceful. The hotel location was good. You can walk to La placita but it’s far enough away that it is not loud or busy around the hotel.

The neighboring highway can be heard from the room. Not ideal for light sleepers. Otherwise great!

The location is great. The breakfast ladies were really sweet and helpful. The staff is responsive, just ask if something is not right.

The people at the reception were pretty cold and not that welcoming, check in could have been a lot better with that. Windows and doors don’t have the best isolation so you can possibly hear outside noise easily, it was not a problem for me but could be for others, bring some earplugs.

The room was comfy, AC was working well and it was clean too. Location was super good, walking distance to the beach front and to a lot of bars and restaurants. You can easily get around without a car. Wifi in the room was working well too. Overall would come back here next time.

The room was outdated, I wish we had more closet space than just a rack next to the bed. The toilet flush was weak. The original room they gave us was not yet cleaned when we checked in so they moved us to the room across the hall.

There is no elevator but there are rooms on the ground floor. There were some biting bugs on the balcony attached to the room.

The location, while not on the beach, was within walking distance to many restaurants. The breakfast was very tasty on the outside patio. While we didn't use, the small pool looked inviting. Check in/check out was easy.

Weak water pressure from shower and also barely any hot water during our stay; it's lukewarm at best and takes more than 1-2 minutes stated to warm up The response to our concerns about the hot water issue was lackluster and not resolved during our stay. Our room was on the top floor, and it appears all the other rooms there also had the same issue It's not very soundproofed, so if you're a light sleeper, that may be an issue

Pros: Walking distance to Condado area and La Placita. Lovely breakfast that is made fresh to order (limited menu) Decent sized and clean room and bathroom. The hotel is quiet Front desk staff was nice and willing to provide recommendations Able to store luggage between checkout and flight An ideal location for someone wanting to explore on foot given the nearby restaurants and nightlife (there is even a park 1 block away). I would stay again, especially if they resolve the water issue.

Needs some minor upgrades. Patio furniture is falling apart and there are no cushions; we had to ask for a change in fitted sheets because they were so old the elastic was broken and they would not stay put during the night.

Nice building with a lot of character. Staff (front desk and breakfast) were very nice and helpful. The rooms were nicely decorated and AC worked well.

The pool was dirty (just leaves and sticks) the first night we came. It was cleaned the second night but it was too cool to swim. There's no parking. We ended up parking around the corner (which was fine) but we had to pull up on the curb a bit to unload luggage and pick up and drop off elderly parents.

Loved the staff! Everyone was super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful; made to order and tasted great! The hotel is very quaint and very quiet, both inside and outside.

When you need housekeeping, make sure you put the "MAID SERVICE PLEASE" sign on your door. Otherwise your room will be skipped. The rooms aren't soundproof, and as mentioned the floors are tile. So if someone down the halls slides a chair across the floor, you'll probably hear it.

The location is great; 3 blocks from the beach and short walks to bars, restaurants and a lovely park. Checking In and checking out was the easiest I've ever experienced. The breakfast was delicious. Scrambled eggs with Ham & Cheese served with Toast. Coffee was great. Fruit was ripe and delicious. The room was actually cold. Because it's Puerto Rico I'm adding it to good list. The ground floor rooms are only tile floors, you might want to wear flip flops in your room or else your feet will get cold.

An onsite bar would be lovely since most restaurants and bars are a short walk away. We were tired and would have loved to lounge by the pool with some house cocktails or Medalla.

Breakfast was fresh and satisfying. Nothing fancy, but just what we needed. Very enjoyable.

I did NOT like being charged the full price of my stay 6 WEEKS BEFORE I arrived. Yes, there was a small warning on the website that they "might charge at any time" but it's unusual to have to PREPAY a booking which has been guaranteed by a credit card already. Also, for other potential guests - just be aware that there is NO elevator or baggage assistance. If you book the best rooms (with a "view and balcony" on the second floor) you will lug your bags up a narrow stairway to get to your room. Parking is not available on-site, you must either "street park" if you find a space or use a paid lot a few blocks away. Street parking in off-season was easy for us but in the high season it's probably not so easy.

Breakfast offered a small 3-item selection but was made-to-order so it was hot and 'homelike". Fresh fruit, coffee, and juice were served with any of the 3 main options.

The room was on a smaller side and with furniture that needed some "love".

I had to do a late check-in, and the staff was prepared to receive me accordingly. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They also make a delicious homemade breakfast.

Because of the language barrier there was initial misunderstanding of the choices the guest could have for breakfast but the staff made up for it by offering available choices

They cleanliness of the house which smells clean upon entrance; the ambience contributes to the appeal of the place

The facility doesn't have an elevator, which was difficult for someone who has a disability. The room only had one trash can, located in the bathroom. We asked for a trash bag but never got one until our departure. The A/C was dripping from the ceiling a bit in our room. Our room didn't have a microwave either. That was pretty surprising 🤷🏿‍♀️.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Thank you Karla, Jose and the ladies that made breakfast every morning. You guys were great!
