Elevator was slow and we were on the 6th floor. We only stayed 3 nights.

We loved the area. Very safe and lots of great restaurants. The bar in the hotel is amazing!! Victor, Antonio and Naomi made us feel right at home. The room was over the top. We highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing I can say that was bad was the living room and kitchen had a lot of wasted space. They probably could have put another bedroom in there but there really wasn't nothing. I didn't like about this hotel

We requested a quiet room since we travelled over 23 hours to the island from abroad. We were put in the room right next to the lobby bar/ piano- so Saturday night was very loud for us as the music went late.

Loved the hotel and staff and location was just the best for seeing family. Everything was well appointed and new. The rooftop is an added bonus with great views.

Everything was great. The bathrooms are tiny and awkward and the rooms could use more countertop/shelving space. It’s a huge room and decorated nicely but literally no where to sit anything.

Sooooo cute and artsy and had TONS of personality. I hear it’s recently been renovated and I can tell! The location was perfect. I had a rental car so it made getting around that mi h easier but we were less than a mile from most places we visited.

This has been, by far, one of my best stays while visiting Puerto Rico over the past years. This boutique hotel is absolutely stunning. Exquisite decoration with lots of attention to detail. The hotel logo is present everywhere in a very elegant way. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and very spacious. Fantastic location - Very centralized. The lobby of the hotel transports you to a past era with precious history elements. I found this gem by accident and I'm so happy I did. Kudos to the staff, specially Alicia, for providing a world class service. A true 5 stars hotel.

Opportunities to improve: Room was extremely dark, lacking a way to have brighter light when needed. No cable on television to see world or national news. I was able to log on to my own entertainment venues, but I would have appreciated a way to watch news broadcasts in real time in English.

The staff is exceptional! Every shift, every position! Vincent and Naomi understand humble service and making a guest feel at home in the individual ways each guest prefers to be served. The valets, the housekeeping staff, IT support, maintenance gentleman and other hosts at the reception desk offer friendly stellar service, working through language challenges of Spanish and English. I did not eat in the restaurant so can not comment about the food or that staff, but the lobby bar was attractive (inside and the patio), and live piano on Thursday night was fun and invited social mingling with other guests. The superbly trained staff is this hotel’s greatest asset. Love the art deco European decor!!

Our room was not as described and was massively overpriced! It was supposed to be a suite with separate lounge and bathroom but was actually just a bedroom with a sofa at the bottom of the bed and the smallest bathroom I have ever seen. When I complained they refunded the cost of one night but even then it was still expensive, especially given the relatively poor location

The pool can hardly be called a pool, it’s really more of a pond. Water only comes to your knees. Also; most restaurants etc are on the other side of the lagoon. There are a couple of cafes and an overpriced pizza place nearby, but way more on the other side.

To begin, all the staff were extremely helpful and the building itself is beautiful. Unfortunately these things were marred by our experience. I booked this hotel many months ago. At the time of booking, I was not made aware that there would be a huge NYE party on that night. It would have been useful to be warned so that we could find accommodation elsewhere if desired (or at least have the option). The first notification I was provided about the celebrations was in November (less than 2 months prior to our stay) - by then it was very late to be looking for other accommodation. After we checked in at 4pm (which is a very late check in - most places are 2-3pm), we tried to relax by the pool but were told it was closed that day due to preparations for the party. This was extremely disappointing as we had been driving all day and just wanted a relax and a swim. Again, I was not made aware of this prior to our visit. When we got home at around 10pm, we had to wade through the huge party and dance floor just to access our room (which was on the same floor as the party). Then the music was SO LOUD from our bedroom it was literally impossible to even concentrate on reading a book. Given the hotel knew we were not attending the party, it would have been thoughtful to put us in a room further away on a separate floor. Even though I totally understand it’s NYE and everybody wants to party, we wanted to go to sleep earlier so we could get up and enjoy the city the following day. Really, if I had known the music would be so loud and unbearable we would have stayed elsewhere. This was a really disappointing stay for us in an otherwise lovely hotel.
