A little pricey but not the worst

Very patient and helpful staff! Some of the most happiest staff I have ever seen. I love that it was a smaller property so the staff was very personable! Restaurant downstairs was a plus! The best bars/restaurants were all walking distance.

It was very cute and clean. It is a great location for the BioBay tours. Has an awesome rooftop view, a lot of space on the patio. Plenty of food options nearby (depends on the hour whether they are open).

Honestly, it's pretty lovely and the staff is so nice. Only thing is I'd stay here more if it had a pool -- though I've heard there's a hot tub on the rooftop, but have yet to check it out.

This is such a stylish hotel! And the location is unbeatable if you are choosing not to rent a car. I've been to Vieques many times and the strip where El Blok is located has good restaurants & nightlife. Plus, its close to the best beaches on the island and some good tour operators. Highly recommend it!

daily breakfast wasn't available at the hotel. The rooms were really cold, which is not a big deal for us because we can regulate the temp., but they could leave them a bit warmer at least around 70-72 F to save some energy & minimize their carbon emissions.

The ambiance, architecture, staff, cleanliness, and location are excellent. Beds are super comfy. The rooftop is very nice, although we wish the bar was open and it was closed. Nice coffee bar available in the morning, access to water & ice, they offer beach towels and chairs for guests. They gave us a room that was empty before check-in time, which was great; THANK YOU! They also communicate via text & answer quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

I wish there was a pool. We were there Monday and Tuesday so the upstairs bar was not open, not sure if it was open other days. The a/c was a little warmer than we like for sleeping.

The design of the hotel and the rooms was very unique and cool. The room had a circular shape and a balcony. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. Location was close to fun in the island.

IDK if we booked at an off time, but the hotel restaurant and bars were closed, which was a disappointment. There are several restaurants very close, next door the breakfast place opens at 8 and has great food. If you are an "I need coffee at 6 am person".. well get on island time. :) The restaurant was open for lounging (and did provide morning coffee), but could have used a deep clean. Overall, it had an air of mild neglect (the elevators could use a cleaning and freshening). I was traveling with a friend and I wish we had booked the suite; the single room (full bed) was tight for two. Solo it would have been fine (or with a spouse). We were both working so it felt cramped. Suggestion: add a clothesline to the balcony space for drying wet clothing, would be super handy!). Overall I would book again, wondering if we just caught them during a slow time. (their lobby boutique is super cute!)

El Blok is a very unique stay. With its circular halls, concrete lattice outside and stunning rooftop amenities it has a lot going for it. The room was cute and clean. We loved the hot tub on the roof and I worked from the roof for several hours one morning. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. The wifi was incredible for a concrete building! Fast speeds and I had no problems maintaining a signal while I worked.

The beds were too soft for my taste, but very good quality linens, etc. Our room faced the street and the traffic noise was pretty high during the day. They have coffee available only from 8-10, no breakfast (restaurant closed in the mornings)

El Blok is a small and very unique building with interesting rooms. We loved the architecture and it sits right across from the beach. It was very clean. The restaurant on site is excellent and they have a rooftop with jacuzzi and killer views. On Sundays they have a DJ and bar on the roof to watch the sunset.
