it was a very comfortable property. it felt like a home away from home. we loved being able to spend time on the grounds and dip into the plunge pool when it got hot. mostly we loved the location, steps from the water, and the owner giving us great recommendations on where to go and what to see.

Having to leave.

The location is superb. Just around the corner from all the action but removed enough for privacy. The highlights are the spacious rooms with EVERYTHING you could possibly need, large balcony, full kitchen, and our bedroom had a King AND a queen bed. The best part of this property is the very private back yard with pool and the beautiful owners Suzann and Tyler…makes you feel like you’re visiting friends at home. Beautiful lobby with kitchen, living room, books and games.

The location was great, close to restaurants, bars, stores, but just separate enough that the road and crowd noise (the Malacon gets loud on weekends) will not disturb you. The hosts were great, friendly, helpful. They steered us to some great activities and having beach chairs and towels available is a real benefit you might overlook. The facilities were the sort of anti-resort environment we were looking for. A real laid-back beach vacation in a real place -- not some artificial bubble like you get at a resort.

Absolutely nothing!

It was a beautiful property! Close by to all restaurants, beaches etc. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly! We would have loved to stay longer! Our room was very comfortable and very pretty! They really go above and beyond to make your stay great including a cooler and beach towels. We would absolutely return and highly recommend. You cannot go wrong with this fabulous place that makes you feel like family!

This place is really special. Suzanne and Tyler go out of their way to make you feel not just welcome, but at home. They are incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and gave us awesome recommendations for restaurants and activities. They had a nice continental breakfast every morning, and there was plenty of space to relax - in the living room, the patios, or the backyard. We stayed in the little house behind the main property - it was super cute and decorated with a beachy vibe. The bed was comfortable and the organic shower products were great. The backyard with pool, hammock, and lush foliage (including an incredible ylang ylang tree) was beautiful. The inn is within walking distance of the beach, dining, and shops. Vieques and Esperanza are magical, but the sweet and attentive owners made our time there even more special. I can't recommend Esperanza Inn enough. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Absolutely nothing.

The property itself is great. It's cute and clean and the location can't be beat. Within 5 minutes walking is a nice beach, numerous restaurants and bars, and the pick up location for the bioluminescent bay tour if you are signed up for that. But most importantly, the owners Tyler and Suzann are what make this place great. They are the most friendly and helpful people you could ask for. From personalized suggestions including beaches that weren't even on our radar, arranging taxis, to giving us rides themselves when we had difficulty getting a taxi (please rent your transportation well ahead of time if you are visiting in the high season). When my partner forgot their phone at the property and we were already on our way back to the ferry, they met us halfway to bring the phone so we wouldn't miss our ferry. Suzann and Tyler truly go above and beyond.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday night the neighboring guesthouse hosts loud parties, so sleeping is not easy.

The location is actually perfect in terms of convenience (but see below about loud parties nearby.) Hosts Taylor and Suzann were most friendly and helpful in every way. Our suite was spacious and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nicely laid out with coffee, toaster, and do-it-yourself microwave oatmeal, etc. Our suite featured access to the roof deck -- great for stargazing! Lovely backyard enclosed courtyard.

We like everything.

Suzann and Tyler are fantastic hosts. They offered informative suggestions daily, based on our personal preferences, regarding beaches, food, and activities. We enjoyed our continental breakfast each day and especially enjoyed the coffee. The enclosed garden is beautiful, private, and loaded with fascinating fauna. Sometimes little native visitors, birds, sunning iguanas, and kitties visit. No problem with bugs. Multiple spots to relax or interact with other guests. We will be returning and bringing friends.

This truly felt like a home away from home with all of the necessities you could ever ask for. The hosts Suzann and Tyler were perfect and gave us so much information about the island, helped us plan our itinerary so we could get the most out of our stay. The location was perfect because you are literally 30 seconds from the boardwalk where you can find all the best restaurants and bars or just enjoy the beautiful beaches surrounding the area. Our room was clean with AC for the warm nights and we could enjoy a light breakfast before we headed out for our adventures. We couldn’t wish for a better stay and don’t hesitate to book here for your stay in Vieques!

The room had a fantastic balcony overlooking the grounds, and was immensely spacious. The bathroom also was quite large and lovely, with a large shower and separate toilet area. The location was just off the main street with most of the restaurants and bars, which is also just across from the beach.
