We liked this apartment due to the absolutely fantastic location--a block to one of the two major forts (top sightseeing destination) and right in the heart of the old city with all the restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. Plus there's a well-stocked and fairly-priced supermarket literally right under the apartment. The apartment itself is OK--nothing special, but the location can't be beat.

All access was by coded entry, but all worked very well. We arrived a bit early, but she was quite accommodating, and welcomed us early. Nice welcome gift on the counter when we arrived, also. The budgies, doves and cockatiels in the atrium were a bonus. House rules required a timely end to any gatherings with considerable volume potential. Other guests were very polite and respectful. I wrote home about the "vintage" elevator. I liked proximity to shops, small grocery, Plaza Colon and the Fort San Cristobal. Lots that we appreciated. The bed was also very comfortable, and "healing" after hours of travel, for a couple seniors.

There was a (otherwise very thoughtful) bottle of chilled champagne waiting for us; I was traveling with two teenagers, and could have used some bottled water instead.

The building and its decor were charming and full of the spirit of Old San Juan. The apartment itself was perfectly decorated with a sense of fun and taste... IF YOU'RE A CHICK. I am not. This was the most feminine space I have ever been in, in my life!!! Flowers, butterflies, and about a million pillows, everywhere! That being said, in all seriousness, it was a fun place to stay. I was traveling with my teen daughter and her friend; they thought the decor was lovely. We especially enjoyed the downstairs atrium with the bird cages full of cockatiels. The apartment was clean and comfortable; security was phenomenal; and the location was hands-down unbeatable! And all for a very reasonable price.

The bed was uncomfortable in our room. The beautiful bedframe was too small for the mattress. The mattress was angled up from my shoulders up. I slept horribly. This is shame because everything else was wonderful in the room: the Wi-Fi, shower, location, quiet, 2 room suite, TV, decor, etc. But the bed was terrible! It might only be this room, The Vintage Suite. I do not know.

Great location. It was near restaurants, park and a beach walk. Nicely furnished with old trunks, furnishings, and appliances. Quiet and had a good rest after long day.

The kitchenette could have been better-equipped. There was a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, along with a handful of glassware (cups and mugs, some of which were cracked or chipped). However, there were no plates, bowls, or cutlery of any kind. While I was happy to be able to make by own coffee in the morning, I had to use a corkscrew to stir the sugar into it, since there were no spoons in the apartment! I was a little disappointed by the kitchen area, but that's my only complaint.

You can't beat the location of this place. We walked everywhere in Old San Juan. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, including a grocery store right next door, which was very convenient.

My only complaint is the room that we had, had a light very low in the bathroom, so we would occasionally bump our head into it. The two other rooms that we had did not have that issue.

Wonderful location. Close to shops and food. Room were big, clean and comfortable. Easy communications and was able to leave our bags earlier then checkin.

If the water in the shower was a bit warmer, it would be perfect. It was quite warm but not hot - this is just my personal preference.

Excellent location. Apartment was nicely decorated and comfortable and spacious. Air conditioning worked well. Clear instructions provided to enter apartment - felt very secure. We were able to check out slightly later on our last day.

Location couldn't be better. Right next to plaza colon where many tours will pick you up. coffee, smoothies, and the best empanadas across the street. grocery store right next door. walk to all destinations in old San Juan. plenty of towels were provided. charming old world feeling of the building. very secure as there are three codes need to reach your room. guest services can easily be reached via text for any issues that come up and they were very quick to respond. would definitely stay here again.
