How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Didn’t appreciate the extra $40 charge for a 16 stay It should have been included with the already high prices. And to top it all up the shuttle driver REFUSED to take us and another family out, just because on that day Sunday the 17yh of March he was done working at 6 pm. Why offer the services until 5:30 if your drivers is done in 1:2 hr . We begged him to as a minimum drop us off at the Tmobil center which is across the very busy street basically and he REFUSED again……NO I’m off the clock soon! Thanks to him we mis out on lots of things we planned as my friend has told me about the shuttle services.

The room had a musty smell. There are not enough mirrors in the room but there are spaces where mirrors and lighting can be added. No wall mounted magnifying make-up mirror in room. Not enough towels-we had 3 big towels but reservation stated 4 people would be sharing a room (so I had to ask for towels) they brought extra! The counter tools did not match (2 different designs)-for such a beautiful hotel-counter stools should match. Maybe update system for parking? Having to stop at front desk to validate parking card is outdated and if front desk is busy you will have to wait.
Super clean! Location is awesome. Shuttle bus too! Room was comfortable. Bed & sofabed were comfortable. Workout room and business center were great. Pool was beautiful and clean and landscaping around was beautifully done. There is an outside room off dining area with a rainfall that is gorgeous. The lobby is simple yet beautifully decorated and the bar and service is wonderful. Wifi never failed us! ALL staff is helpful, ready to give suggestions and so polite & friendly!

We attempted to check in early but didn’t get our rooms until around 5:30. Viktor at the front desk was very rude about it. Had to go over to Hyatt Place to eat and drink because the service at Hyatt House was SO poor.

The area near the hotel is close to the conference center and highways, therefore is not very walking friendly towards old San Juan but you could get there easily by uber or using the hotel shuttle. The hotel is a 30 min walk away from la Placita de Santurce and 10 min walk to several restaurants, which I liked
Amazing room, comfortable, clean, quiet. It was on a second floor, so it didn't have a lot of view but it did have nice natural light. Good breakfast in the morning with an omelet station to get them fresh in the moment :D

The room was clean, great size and awesome view. We got a king size bed, and this room also had an L shape sofa, e full desk and a big bathroom, plenty space for storage and closet. The location is great, only walking distance from Coca Cola Music Hall and other venues, including the Sheraton and the casino. I will stay here next time.
