The rooms were a bit bright because the light from the bathroom was bright. But it was a great room and I would definitely stay here again.

The only small thing. Our first floor room was unique with very high ceiling, with a comfortable bed and nice shower. Huge window but minimal natural light comes in and lighting is good but still a little dark. The ONLY minimal thought.

Great location in Old San Juan. Wonderful roof top pool, hot tub and bar! Court yard quiet, clean with comfortable outdoor furniture with lots of plants, water fall wall and good lighting. Plus a library!

The restaurant could use some work. Staff was slow and standing around chatting and food was mediocre but there are tons of restaurants super close by. It would be nice if they could make that better because it is really nice and convenient to eat in the hotel.

Other than that it was perfect. We brought our dog and we were able to take him everywhere on the property with us. The pool area and bar up there are awesome! Perfect location!

Restaurant food was good, although we were never informed about breakfast being available. Restaurant staff was disorganized, and one time we had a very long wait. We finally asked what the problem was. The waiter informed us he had not placed our order, and then, did nothing about it. We left. We did have another meal there and service was fine.

Beautiful historic building with a friendly, helpful staff. Ceiling fan made the room extra comfortable. We enjoyed a nice breakfast for one of the mornings, and drinks at the rooftop bar. Easy walk to the forts, plazas, shopping, and bars & restaurants. Carli's Jazz joint and La Factoria great choices, and mojitos at Marilyn's across the street- ask at the desk!

We heard a lot of noise. Neighbors stayed up VERY late having a party. At 3 am they were still going strong. Night two there was a rooftop party, directly above us, which also kept us up. I do wish the balcony opened but that wasn't a show-stopper.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The aesthetics were inviting, appealing, and very clean. We enjoyed many of the spaces. We loved the beautiful water features and plants. Having bottled water available was very helpful. The rooftop pool area made a lovely place to cool off after a hot day around the town. The Internet worked great. The shower was luxurious. The beds and linens were very comfortable. Having robes and slippers was a useful plus.

The front desk staff and management are exceptionally helpful and attentive. All requests were handled efficiently, email questions were answered completely and we felt very well attended. The location is excellent for walking around Old San Juan. There is a great spot for outdoor corner cafe for coffee and pastries close by. The city works diligently to keep the streets spotlessly clean and safe. There are street sweepers working night and day to sweep up any fallen leaves and more than adequate security/police patrolling the area. There is an abundance of beautiful architecture within walking distance of the hotel.

They should warn everyone that there is no parking in the city. It’s almost impossible. They finally let us park for a few hours in the front after circling for two hours to find a spot. This should be made very clear that there is no parking. The employee did handle it for us after speaking with her manager. The front desk employees are very sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back to the hotel in the future.

Property is beautiful and in a great location. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and showers nice and big. Lots of space.

The mattress was hard. Woke up with body aches. Please invested in softer mattresses in the future. Breakfast was decent but I suggest adding more variety choices for future guests.

The location was perfect. You are in walking distance to explore Old San Juan. The room was spacious and provided a quiet environment.

Restaurant was under renovation so a continental breakfast was offered. Supermarket muffins and buns. No hot water for tea. We waited a half hour for it to come from a neighboring property. The only disappointment.

Great location. Nice room with comfy linens. Interior courtyard was serene. Loved the pool on the roof. Beautiful historic architecture with modern amenities.
