1 shower is out of order leaving only 1 for the rooms without a bathroom, but it wasn't busy when i was there so wasn't a problem.

Loved the kitchen its a decent size with decent pots and pans it even has a coffee machine. The hostel is really cute and has a lot of different areas available to work in or just socialize in the kitchen area or lounge. Its downtown and only a short walk away from La Placita the main nightlife area or a 30 minute walk from a good part of the beach.

The private bath didn't have hot water in the morning, but I don't mind a cool shower once in a while. My travel companion had a hot shower in a the shared bath.

We found a fun spot for breakfast, 10 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants nearby. The hostel was clean and had great amenities including rooftop to enjoy the evening air. Our private room with bath was cozy and comfortable, with great a/c.

The only down side is that there were no outlets at each bed, and not enough outlets in a 16 bed room. There were no personal lights either. The AC was on full time, cold for PR. I got sick upon leaving.

The staff were wonderful. The place was very clean. Over it was clean and most importantly, clean bathrooms! I would stay here again.

Remote control for air-con wasn’t in the room. I had a late check in and the room was so cold that made me sick. I suffered for 5 hours without anyway to adjust the temperature of the room.

The rooftop bar was closed. It was also freezing and the desk had really limited hours to go and get another blanket. I think I put my coat on one night to fall asleep.

Everything was nice. The self check in is easy. Just that I had a problem because they forgot to send me the code and I had to wait outside until they had my call. Since it was Sunday night it took a long time for them to answer the phone but after that they sent me the code right away. Everything in nice and clean and it feels cozy. I really recommend this place. The staff should double check they send all the information if the guest is going to make self check in, but I understand that can happen to everyone.

All the back & forth emails prior to my very late arrival since the hostel required photo of Driver's License, etc. They had to send me an instructional video with code to access the front door & my room.

The kitchen was right across the hall from the room with 4 beds (i.e. 2 bunks) and although I arrived past 1:00a.m. there were people in the kitchen talking loudly, so I told them we were trying to sleep. Eventually I slept and I was the last to leave the room. I had to buy my own breakfast at a cafe opposite the hostel. The gal in the office kindly ordered an Uber for me as I don;t have an App. I gave her a hot coffee as thanks. I really liked the quaintness of the hostel but I am an older lady and feel it is more suited for the younger travellers.

They just seemed confused about my check-in date. I was requested a review on Feb 17th without staying first (my staying date was Feb 18th-19) and I did received someone else receipt after check-out. I noticed a bit disorganized in that sense.

Overall is great! It is a great location, hostel is very clean. Lots of place where to eat right there.

Really the only issue was having an outlet for each person close to your bed. If you were on a top bunk, you were out of luck and had to leave your phone down below. Sometimes there was not enough outlets for everyone in the dorm room.

A hostel experience is greatly impacted by the other guests which can be hit or miss. This go around, I stayed in the smaller room and some evenings, there were guests open to socializing while others it was not. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is real close to a 24 hour supermarket and a central location in San Juan.

The streets of San Juan are noisy at night, and even here you hear some of that, but it wasn't too bad.

The hostel was nicely decorated and felt very homey. It was about a 10 min walk to get to restaurants/shops. The AC in the room was great, and the beds and pillows in the private room were very comfy. They were super friendly and happy to hold our luggage for us after check out. We didn't use the kitchen facilities but they looked very nice! Nice common areas to sit & do computer work or read, too.

the shower in the 16-bed dorm only has two settings-burn your skin off hot or cold. lol … the other showers don’t get hot at all. but it’s not a big deal. the 16-bed room can be a little loud on the weekend cuz it’s right next to the street, but earplugs usually work well enough to sleep. the other rooms are much quieter though.

the staff are absolutely amazing. the kitchen is expansive and well-stocked for cooking. the bed is quite comfortable! there are several lovely common areas to chill, work, read, etc. the rooftop is awesome!

The shared bathroom was lockable but one never knew if it was occupied. Recommend the hotel install another lock( which shows red or green when the person slides that lock) or indicator to show when the bathroom is occupied. Have hostels stopped supplying a body wash/ shampoo dispenser in the shower? This one didn’t have one.

We had the double bed with 2 extra beds. Good size room. Not enough outlets to charge devices. There was an AC control. Roof top was available though we never saw anyone up there. Super clean.

flight of stairs with a big bag was not convenient. space was great but these sugestión will improve: •charging port in the bunk beds •lighting: -soft runway lighting in the corridor of the bunk beds so you know where to walk when the room is dark. - two light switches, one just when you walk in the room and another to light up the bunk bed section. -bathroom, more bathrooms would be nice. they seem to fill up quickly. but a least a sign that says vacant or occupied so you don’t have to knock or pull on the door to know if someone is inside it.

I thought there was a bar on rooftop and there wasn’t. It was a sign that said text us if you want a beer. Also I had a very loud roommate who would wake up and make loud noises every morning from 6-7am. Obviously that isn’t the hostels fault. What they could change is making the room brighter. It is very dark and there’s only one warm light.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. I loved meeting new people and the place was very clean.
