The property met all needs for a stay in Bethlehem Center. The owner, Elias, went up and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We had an early flight and he prepared the room for us hours before the actual check-in time. Elias reached out to us via WhatsApp to inform us the room was ready and even offered to come and pick us up close to checkpoint 300 at no extra cost. I recommend Herodion Hotel.

The building seems recent and well kept. My room was very spacious and clean. I had a balcony with a great view towards east, and there was also a rooftop terrace with great views. There is private parking in the basement, which is very convenient. The hotel is within walking distance of Manger Square, but is also in a quiet area. The host was super nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to other visitors of Bethlehem.

The location is not near bus stops.

I stayed here for 2 nights in March 2023. The Herodian Hotel Bethlehem is a lovely family run hotel with commanding views of Bethlehem. The owner Elias is so warm and friendly and made us very welcome from the outset. We arrived in Bethlehem by bus from Jerusalem and Elias picked us up from the bus stop and dropped us straight at the hotel. This saved a 20 minute walk, so was amazing! When we arrived we met his family and went to the roof to see the views of the city. Elias and his whole family are extremely helpful and have great local knowledge. You can just WhatsApp them if you need any help. My apartment was amazing! There were two twin rooms, one with a twin bed and wardrobe and the other has a kitchen in, with a sink, fridge freezer, cutlery, kettle and teabags.There is a TV with satellite, good WIFI, a seating area and a desk. The balcony has stunning views over Bethlehem and is a great place to sit and relax. The bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet and toiletries to use. Be sure to head to the roof for a panoramic view of Bethlehem, there is a large dining area, courtyard with heaters and a TV. Various seating areas, a punch bag, weights and various gym equipment. There are swinging chairs, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea, coffee or water which is available from the drinks machine. The location is excellent with the Church of the Nativity only a ten minute walk away. There are lots of shops nearby with restaurants and cafes a plenty. If you are looking to stay in Bethlehem I highly recommend the Herodian Hotel. An incredible family run hotel, who do everything they can to help you. A pleasure to stay, I only wish I could stay longer!

This has nothing to do with the hotel, but am extremely concerned about the dog on the rooftop of the building in front of us. He was left alone in the heat with a very small dog house - he was barking but nobody came out and NYE fireworks that almost made him jump off the building. Can the owner of the Herodion hotel please look into this and help the dog? Please

The owner extremely friendly and even invited us to join them for NYE.

We were the only guests, two weeks before Christmas. The whole city needs more tourists to thrive like it should! Please come to Bethlehem!

Lovely modern guesthouse, large rooms, very close to Manger square, the church of nativity, and old Bethlehem market. Up on the hillside, with views of the Judean hills. Rooftop lounge. Family run business, everyone is so helpful and welcoming. Loved this hotel

Not really a “don’t like” but currently has no reception ( being built) so you get instructions to let yourself in. Owner/manager does communicate well/promptly though if you need anything

Mr Elias is the best host you could possibly have. Attentive and kind, available on his phone for any request or help. He organised for us a day trip to Jericho and Dead Sea. We only wanted to stay one night but we spent 3 nights at the end. Location is also perfect

They dont have a receptionist so I could not meet the host, but I can surely message or call them. Amenities still a little bit short but I dont need them anyways. Bed keep creaking please fix this.

It’s more like an Airbnb than a hotel

it was very clean. Our room was comfortable and had a good working heater as it was cold out. There is really no front desk. It’s more like a condominium.
