An incredibly nice family runs the place, and I felt at home with them during my stay. The mother gave me cactus juice upon my entry, and this was the first time I found out you could juice a cactus. They were helpful in giving recommendations to nearby eating places and such. I highly recommend them.

Nothing to dislike but the door is locked before midnight so if you’re a night owl like me mightn’t be suitable

Lovely spacious room , friendly hostel owner and location close to nativity square . A pleasure to meet Anton , Ellen , Daniel and Paul . Loved the spacious terrace with view as well and short walk ( uphill ) to Nativity Square

Location was excellent. Just 10 minutes walk to Church of Nativity and Bethlehem Peace Center. My room was very big with lovely balcony. The rates were extremely reasonable. The owners were very kind As a solo traveller I felt extremely safe in Bethlehem. I highly recommend House of Peace as a base in Bethlehem. Dani the owner offers the best guided tours, so educational. Included Refugee Camp, Banksy Hotel, The Separation Wall among others. He will customise a tour to suit. Amazing and educational. I would love to return.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The facilities were excellent, the family was warm and welcoming and I felt safe and happy there. They truly live up to their name! The family also gives tours as well…which were fantastic. I went away loving Palestine more after staying here. Highly recommended:)

I recommend the House of peace hostel, because it is a real house of peace and joy where I was welcomed as home by a very kind family. I thank everyone for the wonderful Christmas I spent in Bethlehem.

so, getting to Bethlehem is hard with the large wall. They should have a standard message with bus times and a warning “you must walk after 8 pm” Taxi should only drive one way but they make exceptions at night Anyone getting into Bethlehem after 8 pm needs a plan ( save map to phone)

The Peace House has great energy! It was full of nice people and Christian pilgrims! Not far from the bus; up a large hill! The upper deck is wonderful for reflection!

It's probably the same in all the city : take some repellent if you're sensitive to mosquitoes. Nothing too bad in my opinion though.

The place is central yet quiet, very clean as well, with a balcony and a rooftop. It's by the road, but lovely view on a beautiful church. Very enjoyable !! The hosts are so welcoming, super kind and friendly. It feels like it's important for them that the guests feel relaxed & comfortable. They would also tell you more about the city, the country, the conflict, or even their family and personal story, so do not hesitate to ask questions, since they enjoy conversations.

Lockers or safety deposit boxes for valuables are needed in the dorm room.

Such a lovely family-run guesthouse. The kitchen has everything you could need and the view from the balcony is beautiful. I really felt at home here.
